what makes us take the shots we take. I'm as baffled as you guys it just had to be taken

My favourite Christmas outing as a child - a visit to Selfridges in Oxford Street. Many happy childhood memories! They certainly know how to do Christmas....!

It is a Holiday weekend here in the UK and so we are expecting rain. This photo is just to set the mood.

Fortunately we do not suffer hurricanes like the one battering Louisiana at the moment, it must be so frightening. I hope all my Flickr friends in the area keep safe and dry.

Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.

Yes, it's a classic but sometimes it's nice to make the most of where you live especially when it is as beautiful as this place!

going nowhere fast

Christmas lights reflecting off of the buses in Oxford Street. Just wish the middle bus was a little bit more in the middle.....my OCD ness.......!

Oxford Street

Hello all! It has been a month since I had broadband at home... but I am back and looking forward to sharing some pictures with you! Need I tell you what this is... just in case... London's iconic red telephone boxes and a speeding red London bus.

Hope you are keeping well! I am looking forward to seeing what you have been snapping while I was away... Lv Christine x

In front of Kings cross in London

Red bus, sheds and houses in Garðskagi Iceland near the Folk Museum.

My Goddaughter took this with her iPhone 2 weeks ago on vacation with the family, I think she has great eye for composition.

Regent Street's high-end stores and restaurants taken by Kira!

This was taken from the Dungeness RSPB Reserve. A composite as the birds did nothing when the bus actually went by and there was no bus when the birds all decided to fly up. Which is so typical of most occasions (sigh)
