Flipped reflections and fallen leaves in rain puddles on The Spirit Trail.
Shortly after I took this photo, the sun came out and eventually led to the stunning previously posted sunset (see below).

A view of a colourful house front in Gdańsk or elsewhere in Poland. When cropping, I paid attention to leaving lot of negative space.
Although Colombo, the de facto capital of Sri Lanka, is provincial compared to Bangkok, Singapore or Delhi, there are always interesting architectural gems to be found. The red lines on this rather low-rise commercial building are reminiscent of conductor tracks. They contrast well with the blue glass. I chose a nearby inconspicuous tower block as the background.
My preference for coloured architectural details is unbroken. When I saw this colorful house in the vicinity of my temporary accommodation, I immediately had to pull out my compact camera, which I always carry with me. An old woman appeared and wondered about the stranger standing in her housing estate. I saluted and praised the colorfulness of the house. Then she saw my camera and asked indignantly: "Yes, and now you took a picture? Obviously, you have to come to terms with that these days.
