experimenting with different types of bread dipping oil

 

today's bread dipping oil is a blend of dried basil, dried oregano, dried red chilli flakes, finely chopped deseeded fresh green peppers, extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar

all placed in the nutribullet and blended

Women who are working with red chilies at the middle of the day when the sun just up of their head

 

Seeds of Red chilli pepper, Walnut , Pistachio, Pumpkin seeds, almonds, Ivy gourd, water melon seeds , Cumin seeds and mung bean (Vigna radiata) sprouts.

 

Used some bean sprouting roots to highlight the wonder of creation !

  

I liked this quote by Debby Boone " Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream " -.

 

Seemed so apt for this week's MM challenge.

 

I placed the seeds on a slice of watermelon to give it the pink background.

Macro Mondays – Flame: A flaming hot chilli.

 

A small red chilli bursts into flames for this week’s theme, supported by backdrop of hot chilli flakes.

Second Lockdown 30 Day Photo Challenge

All went well with my last 30 day lockdown challenge so I'm doing it again.

This is a randomly selected 30 subjects from a list of 150 suitable things to do during this lockdown period.

The dried ones will be later packed and exported across the world. Chilies which don't dry fast are kept for more days and it is hoped that rains don't fall during drying time. If rains do fall, additional 4-7 days may be needed to dry them.

 

For now, Hindu labour on Muslim landlord's farm will remain poor and hard worker. Rich Hindus, mostly dealers of dried chillies, will become richer as dollar rises against Pakistan Rupees.

I had a great harvest of chillies this year, grown especially to photograph. So, the obvious dish is chilli con carne. They actually tasted sweet and ;mild, not unlike a slightly spicy red pepper.
