I still have this camcorder because I need to digitize a bunch of tapes. I have tried it and I have come to the conclusion that it is easier to pay someone to do it for me.
As I was about to upload my image I realized that the person before did almost the same thing. Oh well. I think 8mm preceded Mini DV.

For 121 Pictures in 2021 #92 "Something that makes a sound", this is a plastic recorder. I once wanted to learn how to play this instrument but didn't make it very far. This thing does make sounds, but in my hands those sounds cannot be considered music. :(

This delightful young lady was merrily playing a recorder for the entertainment of the mainly tourists in Tallinn, Estonia. Was she perhaps, hoping to attract a knight in shining armour ? However her lovely music & demure appearance certainly attracted a good audience.

Looking close...on Friday: Part of a musical instrument
I don't play any instruments. During Covid I thought, "I could go online and learn to play the recorder!" Turned out the only true part of that was "I could go online."

I listen to a lot of radio programmes in the car by recording the ones I want to hear.
I have over 500 cassette tapes - and most of those have two programmes recorded on them. The oldest are over twenty years old. When I go on a long journey I pick out some old favourites.
Given that I do this nearly every day - sometimes two or three times - it's odd that I've never thought of taking a photo for my 365 selfie.
(I had this radio/CD/tape recorder for several years before I realised that it had a built in timer to set the recorder to start and stop - doh!)

My old mother doesn't remember much, but she still plays the piano and recorder beautifully.

One from the weekend, a chance pass by and subsequent u-turn to investigate this interesting looking old house.
I've had this kicking around my office of a while now. I saw some other (larger) cassette MOCs and figured I should get this photographed asap.

A custom blacktron build which I worked a lot on, and one of my most complex spaceship designs
It features a modern cockpit, a cargo bay which can be opened and contains 2 small containers. It’s got a bomb bay too and you can reload the bombs and even release them with a push of a button. Also there is a secret compartment in the ship with a data recorder, and for landings there are landing legs too!😎

This week's theme was: C is for Composition
I had some ideas for taking a photo on the theme of composing a pleasing photo, but the weather has not cooperated and the sky is overcast and the light is flat. So I've gone for a different meaning.
I haven't actually written any music for decades, but I did dabble in composing songs in my teens and early 20s.
