L'Hypolais polyglotte s'entend plus qu'elle ne se voit sur ses lieux de reproduction. Mais une fois un chant localisé, il est possible de trouver assez facilement le chanteur qui ne craint pas de s'exposer au sommet d'un buisson ou au bout d'une branche. En revanche, le reste de l'activité de l'espèce, comme la recherche de nourriture, échappe à l'observation car elle se déroule au sein de la végétation ligneuse. Lorsque les jeunes ont quitté le nid, on peut percevoir leurs petits cris de quémande typiques tandis que les adultes arrosent copieusement l'importun de leurs cris d'alarme insistants.
Le vol de l'Hypolaïs polyglotte est en général bas et direct lorsqu'elle vole d'un buisson à l'autre. La migration nocturne "longue distance" suppose une capacité de vol soutenu importante.

The polyglot Hypolais gets along more than she sees on her breeding grounds. Chrysope verte - Chrysoperla Carnea... véritable tueuse et redoutable prédatrice. La Chrysope verte ne s'encombre pas de subterfuge pour "tomber" sur ses proies... Les adultes mesurent de 10 à 15 mm. Leurs ailes membraneuses (25 mm) sont transparentes. Le corps et les nervures des ailes sont verts (rosissent en automne quand l'insecte recherche un abri pour hiverner)1. Les yeux sont dorés. Les antennes sont longues et filiformes.

Green lacewing - Chrysoperla Carnea... A real killer and fearsome predator. The Green Lacewing does not bother with subterfuge to "fall" on its prey... Adults measure 10 to 15 mm. Their membranous wings (25 mm) are transparent. The body and veins of the wings are green (pink in autumn when the insect seeks shelter to winter)1. The eyes are golden. The antennae are long and filiform.

Voici donc la superbe femelle Durbec des sapins, je vous la présente sur deux images car je trouve son magnifique plumage tout aussi beau de front que de l'arrière et j'ai été incapable de faire un choix...
Selon un ami qui s'y connais en oiseau ce serait un mâle juvénile je dois donc effectuer la correction et faire de recherche de mon côté...

Lors d'une session de surf à Nazaré avec des vagues immenses atteignant parfois les 20 m de haut , un surfeur a disparu sous les vagues et plusieurs hommes en jet ski ont tenté de le retrouver ..... Celui-ci a fini par le ramener sur la plage mais il était temps car le surfeur était passé 3 fois sous les vagues et ce cap est souvent fatal !
Le gisement d’étain de la région d’Abbaretz a fait l’objet d’exploitations très anciennes, dès l’époque gallo-romaine. Mais c’est au début du 20ème siècle que d’importants travaux de recherche ont débuté par la société nantaise des Minerais de l’Ouest (SNMO). L’exploitation principale a été réalisée à ciel ouvert sur le site du Bois Vert à l’ouest du bourg d’Abbaretz à partir de 1952. La mine à ciel ouvert a atteint des profondeurs allant de 40 à 70 m. Lors de l’exploitation, les matériaux extraits à la pelle mécanique étaient transportés par bandes transporteuses soit au nord de la route départementale directement lorsqu’il s’agit de roche de découverte ou de minerai trop pauvre en étai, soit dans l’usine de traitement du minerai. Dans l’usine, le minerai était concassé et broyé pour récupérer l’étain. Une fois ce dernier récupéré, les résidus de traitement étaient envoyés dans des grandes aires de décantation au nord de la route départementale. Cette activité a généré les terrils du Bois Vert visibles aujourd’hui : le terril conique composé de stériles d’exploitation (matériaux plus ou moins grossiers, moins chargés en métaux) et les terrils tabulaires en forme de plateaux composés de résidus de traitement (matériaux plus fins de type sable, plus chargés en métaux). L’étude menée récemment par le BRGM conclut à une concentration relativement importante en métaux dans les sols (arsenic notamment) présente dans les résidus des anciennes activités de traitement du minerai. Cette zone ayant donné lieu à une exploitation minière dans le passé contient naturellement des teneurs en métaux plus élevées que la moyenne de terres initialement chargées en métaux. Ce rapport indique qu’en dehors d’une promenade le long du chemin de randonnée et sur la montée au belvédère du terril conique, les autres usages ne sont pas compatibles avec le site.
The tin deposit in the Abbaretz region has been exploited for a very long time, since the Gallo-Roman period. But it was at the beginning of the 20th century that important research work began by the Nantes company of West Minerals (SNMO). The main mining was carried out in the open pit at the Bois Vert site to the west of the village of Abbaretz from 1952. The open pit mine reached depths ranging from 40 to 70 m. During operation, the materials extracted with a mechanical shovel were transported by conveyor belts either to the north of the departmental road directly in the case of discovery rock or ore too poor in prop, or to the plant of ore processing. At the plant, the ore was crushed and ground to recover the tin. Once the latter was recovered, the treatment residues were sent to large settling areas north of the departmental road. This activity generated the Bois Vert slag heaps visible today: the conical slag heap made up of waste rock (more or less coarse materials, less loaded with metals) and the tabular slag heaps in the form of trays made up of treatment residues ( finer sand type, more loaded with metals). The recent study carried out by BRGM concludes that there is a relatively high concentration of metals in the soils (arsenic in particular) present in the residues of former ore processing activities. This area, which has been used for mining in the past, naturally contains higher metal contents than the average for soil initially loaded with metals. This report indicates that apart from a walk along the hiking trail and on the climb to the conical slag heap lookout, other uses are not compatible with the site.

Recherche Bay, an embayment of the Tasman Sea in the extreme south-eastern corner of Tasmania, Australia. This is as far south as you can drive in Tasmania. The place is named after the Recherche, a ship of the French Navy that took part in an expedition exploring the Australian coast in 1792.

Armand Amar (born 1953 in Jerusalem ) French composer, who grew up in Morocco.] He won the 2010 César Award for Best Music Written for a Film for Le Concert (Radu Mihaileanu).
"Français d’origine marocaine, né à Jérusalem, Armand Amar passe son enfance au Maroc. Fort des sésames d'instruments jugés alors exotiques, il part tôt à la rencontre de cet "ailleurs" promis par des musiques extraeuropéennes. D’abord en autodidacte, toujours à la recherche très physique des expériences, puis pendant des années marquées au sceau d'un engagement total, qui le conduisent à pratiquer les tablas, à découvrir le zarb ou les congas, auprès de différents maîtres de musiques traditionnelle et classique.
Suit en 1976 la découverte de la danse, à l'invitation du chorégraphe sud-africain Peter Goss, anthropologue de formation. Soudain, ce qu'il recherche est là : un rapport direct à la musique, le pouvoir d'improviser sans contraintes, les vertus de l'échange in situ. Deux aventures parallèles enrichissent sa palette : son implication dans l'école de comédiens d'un Patrice Chéreau et l'enseignement au Conservatoire National Supérieur sur les rapports musique et danse. Il travaille depuis, avec un nombre considérable de chorégraphes appartenant à tous les courants de la danse contemporaine comme Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Carolyn Carlsson, Russell Maliphant, ou Mourad Merzouki.

En 2012 Armand Amar écrit les bandes originales de deux films brésiliens : Mon bel oranger de Marcos Bernstein et Amazonia Eterna de Belisario Franca, et des nouveaux films de Yann Arthus-Bertrand Planète Océans, Alexandre Arcady Ce que le Jour doit à la nuit, et Costa-Gavras Le Capital. Armand Amar a fondé en 1994 le label Long Distance avec son complice Alain Weber et qui peut se prévaloir aujourd'hui d'une soixantaine de titres (musiques traditionnelles et classiques).
Les CDs de ses musiques à lui paraissent chez naïve, Long Distance, Universal, Sony et Warner.
Par ailleurs, le compositeur a créé en juin 2011, au Festival des musiques sacrées du monde de Fès, au Maroc, sa première œuvre tout à lui, un « oratorio mundi » nommé Leylâ & Majnûn, d'après la légende du même nom, avec une quarantaine de chanteurs et musiciens de tous horizons. Le spectacle a été repris à la salle Pleyel à Paris en avril 2014.

French of Moroccan origin (born in Jerusalem), Armand Amar spent his childhood in Morocco. Imbued with the sounds of instruments considered exotic at the time, the pull of that “world apart” exercised by extra-European music soon fascinated him. Autodidact, he was constantly searching for physical experiences in the early years of his musical apprenticeship, whereas in the following years his search became a commitment; he learned to play tablas, discovered the zarb and congas, and studied under various masters of traditional and classical music.
Armand’s discovery of dance in 1976, following an invitation from South African choreographer and trained anthropologist Peter Goss was another decisive moment. Suddenly what he’d been looking for was right there in front of him – a direct relationship to music, the power to improvise freely, the advantages of authentic, on-the-spot exchanges. Two challenging ventures broadened his scope even further: his involvement in Patrice Chéreau’s actors’ school and his teaching at the Conservatoire National Supérieur [Higher National Music School] focussed on the relationship between music and dance. Since then he has worked with various choreographers from the different branches of contemporary dance (Marie-Claude Pietragalla, Carolyn Carlsson, Francesca Lattuada, Russell Maliphant etc.).
The musical and spiritual influences at play show through in his film scores, such as in the following selection: Eyewitness (2000), The Axe (2005), Eden is East (2009) all by Costa-Gavras. In 2012 Armand Amar composed the original scores of two Brazilian films: My Sweet Orange Tree by Marcos Bernstein and Amazonia Eterna by Belisario Franca, as well as of the films Planet Ocean by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, What the day owes to the Night by Alexandre Arcady, and The Capital by Costa-Gavras. He wrote the music for Nicolas Vanier’s Belle and Sebastien, and Philip Muyl’s new film Le Promeneur d’oiseau. In August 2014, he received the Amanda Award/ Best soundtrack of the Year for the music of the Norwegian director Erik Poppe’s movie A Thousand Times Goodnight. He recently composed the music for Belle et Sébastien, l’aventure continu by Christian Dugay, L’Odeur de la Mandarine by Gilles Legrand and HUMAN by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

A La Réunion, les larves de guêpes sont un mets très recherché. Consommées frites dans l'huile ou en sauce, les nids se vendent très cher sur le bord des routes. Malheureusement, ces guêpes sont de grandes consommatrices de chenilles en tout genre ainsi que de cochenilles. Elle jouent donc un rôle très important pour limiter les populations de ravageurs des cultures. La disparition des guêpes, entraînerait une augmentation de l'utilisation des pesticides chimiques qui détruisent toute forme de vie.

On Reunion Island, wasp larvae are a highly sought-after delicacy. Eaten fried in oil or in sauce, the nests are sold at a high price on the roadside. Unfortunately, these wasps are major consumers of caterpillars of all kinds, as well as scale insects. They therefore play a very important role in limiting crop pest populations. The disappearance of wasps would lead to an increase in the use of chemical pesticides, which destroy all forms of life.

Born in Shanghai, China, in 1933, to Italian parents, at the age of 20 he emigrated to the United States, to San Francisco, with his family. From 1953 to 1957, he took art courses at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He had his first exhibition in 1960. He then settled in New York, right in the midst of the excitement of abstract expressionism. He then became interested in welded steel sculpture. This work of art is dedicated to the Italian mathematician and naturalist Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) as an ideal representation of Galileo's research into gravity and the motion of celestial bodies.
The artificial lake in which the sculpture is located is named after the Italian architect Renzo Piano, the master builder of the DaimlerChrysler district.

La chapelle a été consacrée à Saint Thomas Becket, archevêque de Cantorbury, assassiné sur ordre d'Henri II, roi d'Angleterre et duc de Normandie, en 1170.

The chapel was dedicated to Saint Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, assassinated by order of Henry II, King of England and Duke of Normandy, in 1170.

The griffon vulture is a large bird of prey with a wingspan of 2.60 m and a weight of around 9 kg. The pair, formed for life, nests on cliffs. In the morning, as soon as updrafts allow them to fly with less effort, they set off in groups in search of food, covering distances of up to several hundred kilometers. They feed on the soft flesh on the carcasses of dead animals, mainly domestic ones, as wild ones are becoming increasingly rare.
Reintroduction programs halted their disappearance from almost all of Europe at the beginning of the 20th century. They come in large numbers to feeding areas in France and Spain.
Le vautour fauve est un grand rapace de 2m60 d'envergure pesant environ 9 Kg. Le couple, formé à vie, niche dans des falaises. Le matin, dès que des courants ascendants leurs permettent de voler avec un moindre effort, ils partent en groupe à la recherche de nourriture, parcourant jusqu'à plusieurs centaines de kilomètres. Ils se nourrissent de chairs molles sur les carcasses d'animaux morts, principalement domestiques car les sauvages sont de moins en moins nombreux.
Des programmes de réintroduction ont permis d'enrayer leur disparition de presque toute l'Europe au début du XXème siècle. Sur les aires de nourrissage organisées en France et en Espagne, ils viennent en grand nombre.
