Hey everyone, I've decided I didn't enjoy my plot for Eolhelm, and didn't care for the higher fantasy part of it. So here's Eolhelm[-Rebooted-]

Eolhelm "Warghunter" is a warrior of northern Lenfald. One of his "Hobbies" is hunting the stray wolves and Wargs that come out of Garheim. He's currently working for a Warlord in northern Lenfald, patrolling the Lenfald borders. Eolhelm is quick to speak, and has gotten himself in and out of trouble with it. His father was once a warrior of Lenfald before he was killed when the ship he was on sunk. Eolhelm hunted down the man responsible, who was sentenced to jail. His mother vanished years before his father died. Eolhelm is completely loyal to glorious Lenfald, and her ruler High Lord Triphian.

Every once in awhile I need a physical and soul reboot. Crazy times in America, and elsewhere. Experiencing moments like Mt. Rainier rising from the early morning mists, reflected in Reflection Lake never fails to reset and rejuvenate me. It is both humbling and soul stirring. Nature is the best drug.....

At first glance, with all of those ropes, this skiff looks rather like a puppet skiff. One that, perhaps, has aspirations to star in one of Gerry Anderson’s famous supermarionation telly shows.
I didn’t have the heart to say that Mr Anderson wasn’t able to make any more shows, on account of the fact that he died some time ago. I also thought it would be a tad rude to pass comment about the thickness of those ropes, for they would surely show-up on the film if any of the old shows were to be subject to one of those ’reboots’ and our friend here managed to land a nice, puppety part.
Also, I couldn’t help but notice that someone appears to have moored their tree in the harbour. This does not seem to be a wholly sensible thing to do, but then much of the world is no longer sensible, so who am I to comment?

Sometimes a harbour has only one skiff that is shared amongst all of the boat owners and visitors alike. It's an old tradition, from a time when materials were hard to come by and everything was looked after with great care. That's why in certain seaside towns, particularly those that still value their heritage, one can often hear conversations along the lines of the following:
"Dave, where's the skiff? I need to get to me boat."
"Beryl's got it, Be back at half-past three she says."
"Oh, righto. Time for a tasty bite and a quick cuppa then."
"Lovely, no sugar for me ta, I've given it up. Wife says I ought to lose a few pound. D'ya want sauce on yer chips?"
"Ahrrr."
All of this is, of course, nonsense. No one in their right mind would spoil chips with sauce.
I've been on a bit of a Star Trek mission recently. Here's my latest attempt at the Enterprise from the 2009 reboot, designed by Ryan Church and complete with obligatory JJ Abrams lens flares 😁
This build is one of my largest, and is about twice the size of my other Star Trek stuff. As such getting it all strong 💪 enough took quite a few attempts. The interior structure in the secondary hull provides a solid connection from the engine pylons to the saucer neck. And the nacelles themselves are attached using 3 inverted lego-men bodies and legs for each side.
In case you're wondering, it is fully swoosh-able, and has made many 5 year voyages around the house!
One of the first characters I created in second life was a cyborg villain named Synapse (he also doubles as the hero called Neuron, but that's a whole long story no one cares about -- like this story, but this one is short). At any rate, through the years I occasionally retool his look and while bopping around at the Cyberpunk Fair, I found this cool new cracked/robotic skin that I thought looked good, so it's time for a new look reboot....
