Hey hey hey.
There's no story yet, I'll get to that on a later day.
Pretty straight forward build; I got to try a new wall out, I like it. Those plants were fun, I love the colors. However, the ground looks worse and worse the more I look at it. Yikes.
Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the public Mission 20 event on the Rebellug Discord server!
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Built for the Rebellug collab Kingdoms at war 2. Make sure to follow the RL insta for all the other entries!
Quite happy with this one, especially the lighting. The spin of Samurai fighting knights was really fun, as I got to make figs for both. Check out my partner Caleb for his part of the story...
This is my entry for day 3 of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 Competition (category: fantastical), as well as the 2021 Summer Joust (category: high fantasy).
Mountain Climber is a deep space frigate I've been working on here and there for about a year now. I think the inspiration almost exclusively comes from two builds, Prometheus by dasnewton and Heavenly Strike by Nick Trotta, dasnewton for the blocky, angular, mesh look created with lots of wedges and such, and Nick for how the sharp design of his ship emboldens the strong contrast of black and white.
I'll have a video out on my YouTube this weekend going through all the WIPs. Hopefully I remember to come back and edit this...
Shoutout to everyone in the RebelLUG and FOL Hangout WIPs Discords for their feedback over the build process!
The purple waves undulate in the wind, channeling a calm and familiar scent.
I built this scene as part of RebelLUG’s castle collab at Brickworld 2025. After the show, I turned the creation into a standalone MOC by constructing a cobblestone cottage and building a black border. For the house, I wanted to try something different. With the relatively recent D-SNOT brick and a variety of tiles, it seemed feasible to create a new stone wall texture. The technique is parts-intensive, time-consuming, and may even look busy, but I’m happy to bring something new to the many ways of building a Lego house.
My third entry for vignweek 2020, a contest where you have to build a creation a day for a week. The third day's theme was post apocalypse, so here's my entry. I hope you like it!
“First strategy meeting. Paul Atreides, who catches hunter seekers with his bare hands like a hero of old!”

Here's my entry for the third prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2021 contest, with the theme of fantastical (being defined as anything fantasy from before 1900). Overall, I'm super happy with how this build turned out. I love how my hummingbird design looks, and I also like what I did for the rotting log. Fun fact, this build also uses some of my favorite LEGO colors, those being dark green, dark azure, and teal, though unfortunately I couldn't get the teal to look as good as it does in person on this model. Anyway, hope you all like this build too!
You can see some close-ups here.
This stylized build of the Grand Canyon is part of a RebelLUG collab to showcase different national parks. I chose the Grand Canyon because of its iconic status and distinct appearance. I tried to use as many earth-toned wedge plates as I can to create the patterns of the sedimentary layers.
My final build of Vignweek 2025. The prompt was 'Reclaimed by Nature" My biggest build of the contest at 31.5 x 28.
An adventurer stumbles upon the ruins of a once great kingdom, now reclaimed by the ground it was built on. Even the greatest of kingdoms fall, and everything that men build will one day crumble.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal." - Matthew 6:19-20
This contest has been a blast. Thank you to Rebellug for hosting it, and for all of the judges making it possible.
All Glory be to God.
Somewhere in the Paaxpaaj Sector an illor watches with idle curiosity as the ultraspeed monorail goes by.
Build 5 for RebelLUG's Vignweek contest, the prompt being "Space".
An entry for Day 1 of RebelLUG's "Vignweek 2021" contest. The theme is "ancient." I decided to go with a Roman gladiator arena, set in an eastern province of the Roman Empire. Inspired by the first gladiator fight from the movie "Gladiator", as well as by W. Navarre's Ilesole Arena.
The MOC is 16x32 studs.
Day 6 of RebelLUG's Vignweek contest 2025.
The theme was "Reclamed by nature"
Build a scene where nature is overtaking. The build can be historical, modern, sci-fi, etc, but nature must be significantly overgrowing the location.
Ever imagined a cyberpunk city flooded and covered in plants by daylight, that's exactly what's the Urban Jungle style looks like. I must say, I LOVE that esthetism, it will certainly not be the last moc of that style. I really like cyberpunk style even if it's quite hard to achieve but having vegetation and water in a futuristic city, it's all I like.
I took so much fun doing, you have no ideas, all those little details, using awesome parts I don't usually use like that antenna that I always wanted to include (it costs a lot by the way).
As I didn't have enough time to take proper picture and that Vignweek is about... Vignette, for the contest I shot a vignette but I feel it doesnt give justice so I did multiple immersive scene and I must say, they look wonderful! I love that and the building in the back are adding so much.
Really awesome moc that I really enjoyed doing as much as participating to Vignweek, so cool and I feel I learnt so much things.
Here are some example of AI art I've took inspiration for that mocs:
- Inspiration 1 (The main inspiration, it looks similar to my moc)
Even if made with AI, those picture and this style is just fantastic :)
I love it if somehow you hadn't understood xD
Hope you like it :)
The doors slowly clang open as the bright sunshine and heat instantly take hold. The landing craft carrying House Atreides arrives on the planet Arrakis. The time has come for Paul and his family to become the authoritative force to keep the spice flowing.

Here is my entry for the Through the Seasons category of the Summer Joust 2021, with my build depicting Kyle the Fisherman doing some fishing during the spring season. Overall I'm decently happy with this, most of it was built in a day. There were a few things I would've done differently had I started earlier but I think it turned out pretty good and I'm very happy with my rockwork after not having done any for a long time.
This was done in collaboration with:
Roanoke Handybuck: Summer
Jako of Nerogue: Autumn
Carter Witz: Winter
Originally I planned to have this be a build for Star Wars day on May the 4th, but I couldn't quite finish it in time for then, so here it is now. I had wanted to finally build some more Star Wars, and specifically do something not inspired by the Clone Wars like I usually do, so this ended up seeming like it would be cool to do, hope you like it!
Inspired by this, though definitely not built exactly copying that scene.
My build for the Rebellug 2 hour challenge. Only had about 40 mins to build, think it turned out ok. The seed part was the 1x1 clip piece.
Thank you so much for looking!
My Fourth vignette for RebelLUGs vignette week competition. the genre for today was cyperpunk, something i have never built in before so this was a new experience.
I recently participated in the RebelLUG "So Uncivilized" collaboration, the goal of which was to build various blasters from Star Wars. I built the E-11, the gun that stormtroopers used. I must confess that I know almost nothing at all about guns, but think I did pretty well basing it off of some reference images. While it was an enjoyable experience, it was probably also my most challenging creation I've ever made. Also, credit to Nick Jensen for the fantastic editing job. I hope you like it!
Built this hangar in collaboration with Jetbricks, which was a lot of fun, I documented it in a build log on YouTube.
Gunship instructions available for purchase on RebelLUG.com.
Happy building!
My entry for day 2 of vignweek 2020, a contest where you have to build a creation a day for a week. Today's theme was rescue, so I figured what better to build than the greatest rescue of all time; Jesus's sacrifice to save us from our sin? I hope you like it!
My latest MOC, based off of this scene from the movie Dune: youtu.be/4LtZm6X0NIM?t=43
This build was my contribution to the RebelLUG Dune collab. The other 13 builds in the collab are being posted on the RebelLUG instagram account and can be viewed here: www.instagram.com/rebellug/?hl=en
On a side note this build was also my first chance to try out my new fog machine! I'm quite happy with how it worked out, and can't wait to use it for more scenes in the future!
If you're interested in what my photo setup looked like, he's a little video showing it: photos.app.goo.gl/JnnE1Cnk8oyVYBjQA
I barely had to do any photo editing for this shot. I simply took a photo with a relatively long exposure time to get the fog looking pretty uniform.
Hope you enjoy, and hopefully more MOCs coming soon!
Finally a new build! Well actually, this one isn't so much new, as I had initially started it way back in late 2018, but I finally began working on it again last month and completed it. This started as me just wanting to build something castle, and I chose to use sand green for the landscaping for some more muted colors. I ended up using the Tournament Knight CMFs for the figures, to provide a few pops of color. I'm really happy with the foreground of this scene, but less so behind the wall with the houses, as something seems like it's missing to me. But I just wanted to get this done and it is now, so I can move onto finishing up some other projects! Hope you all enjoy!
Here is a video showing some more behind the scenes/details.
This is part 3 of RebelLUG's latest collaboration, The Laceropes Mission. For the videos and the complete story with command log readings, please check out rebellug.com/laceropespics
“The next town up is a similar sight to what we witnessed upon landing. A platoon of clones is currently trying to force a group of monks out of their temple by burning it to the dirt. Part of the mission summary claimed we need show little mercy for the people of Laceropes after their complete refusal to negotiate for the mining of lacertosus. The Republic was left with no choice but to take it by force.”
oops it appears the flame is in the wrong spot :(
My build for RebelLUGs The Dark Knight collab!
Based on this scene from the movie: youtu.be/jane6C4rIwc?si=WgsrNM23CD5pNkxf&t=79
I had fun with this one, trying to get the lighting and reflections right. Plus, The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies, so it was cool getting to build something from it.
I made a little behind the scenes video for the build on youtube: youtube.com/shorts/NGEZqokSI6o?si=ybHsPxqDgGeOoHrM
And be sure to check out the other builds in the collab on the RebelLUG instagram: www.instagram.com/rebellug/?hl=en
This was my build for the REBELLUG 2-hour contest yesterday. The goal was to use the bucket handle piece creatively, so I used some in gold on the front-right portion of the reef, as well as a few in dark tan on the drone. I hope you like it!
It's been almost two years since my last attempt of building something cyberpunk.
This build took me about 2 months to complete, but from the beginning I knew this will be a "2077" build. My hype for the game is unreal. The footage released by the studio responsible for the game, CDP RED, was enough to make this tiny piece of Pacifica, district in Night City. Would this fit in the game?
Parts: ~2k.
Roof technique: Grantmasters.
Hope you like it guys!
~Jan
Here's my entry for the first prompt of RebelLUG's Vignweek 2020 contest, with the theme of a lair. Doing the Batcave was my first idea for this, despite never having watching any of the Batman movies before (which yes, I need to fix), and it seems like a few other people had the same idea too. Anyway hop you like it, I'm fairly happy with it, the rocks could definitely be better but I like how the overall look of this turned out, especially for it being built in less than half a day!
We'll see if I end up having enough time to get any more of the days for this contest done, but regardless, check out the contest and see everyone's submissions in the RebelLUG discord, I guarantee there will be lots of great entries!
The thin line technique is something I first saw used by BBricks Studios.

"It'd be nice when Wayne Manor's rebuilt- you could swap not sleeping in a penthouse... for not sleeping in a mansion."
My build for RebelLUGs The Dark Knight collab!
This was a fun challenge of a build. Figuring out how to keep the roof from caving in while properly lighting the whole build was really tricky since I wanted to keep the half plate gaps that form the grid pattern with the tiles. I ended up making the whole thing vertical in two halves so that gravity was on my side and I was able to light to floor and ceiling separately before combining the whole scene. That probably doesn't make much sense in words, but trust me this was one of my most technical moc photographs to date xD
90% of the tumbler is Calin's design. He has made some of the best minifig scale tumblers out there.
Thanks for viewing!
All glory to Jesus!
Day 1 of RebelLUG's Vignweek contest 2025.
The theme was "Archeology"
Build an Archeology scene. It can be a historical scene, one from an existing IP (Indiana Jones, Uncharted, etc) or it can be your own idea. It can be historical, modern, or sci-fi, but should focus on the discovery/research of a past civilization.
Archaeologist frogs are digging after discovering a big rubber duck in the ground. They've installed metal scaffolding to help them-selves reach each part of the duck. They have also found the baby one.
How did this rubber duck civilisation live? Noone know at the moment, but that it should take long before the scientific frogs find out.
I really struggle finding an idea for this one. I even considered not participating at all because 4h after the theme announcement, I had no ideas at all.
Hope you like it :)
Another collab with Jake made in 2-3 hours one evening during Bricks Cascade. We made it to fit the RebelLUG monthly prompt of 'Space'.
Here's my newest build, and also my largest ever! This depicts a meeting between many kings and rulers in a sci-fi/castle/fantasy world. I had started this two years ago but just finally finished it this year for Bricks Cascade 2022. It's not my favorite build ever, but considering I rushed a bunch of it to get it done for the convention I'm still decently pleased with it. Hope you all enjoy!

For many seasons the gatekeeper stood watch at the mountain pass, commanding all who cross save the passage of time.
This MOC was inspired by the idea of a tall arched building (the Laguna Domicila by jaapxaap) and using the conical roof piece and Viking wheels for towers. The WIP has been sitting around for over a year when I first purchased the roofs elements in red before replacing them with the newer green ones and finally using the newest sand blue ones. This is also my first time in 20 years building a proper castle MOC rather than a historical or fantasy-themed one. I received some helpful feedback from RebelLUG, which has many knowledgeable castle builders.
Here's another detail shot from my Alternate Transportation cyberpunk scene, just showing one of the buildings I made.

I've never built against the clock before so this was quite the experience. After 1 hour all I had done was the water and what was to the left of it. I really had to kick it into high gear to finish the rest. Next time I have a different tactic for going about this though. We'll see if it works out. Had fun nonetheless!!!
Gurney saves Paul from his demise of being eaten by the Sandworm. As they escape their impending fate on the Ornithopter's boarding ramp, they are stunned by the sheer size of the Sandworm and how it devours the Spice Harvester.
This scene is part 9/14 of RebelLUG's Dune Collab on Instagram. Make sure to check out all the other amazing builds too!
This scene's main challenge for me was shaping the crater only using basic bricks and plates.
For the RebelLug Vignette week contest, Where you have to make a vignette in one day, for me it was five hours of on and off building, school, taking photos, and editing. The Prompt for this build is "Cave mining,"

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
Matthew 28:1-10 NIV
Day 4 of RebelLUG's Vignweek contest 2025.
The theme was "Roadtrip"
Build a scene depicting some aspect of a road trip. Whether that is planning the trip, the trip itself, or overcoming obstacles of the trip.
Who said a road trip had to be fast? Why can't you just enjoy the view, the sounds of bird, of water, spend the night ina very confortable tent.
To do so, I suggest asking to your nearest giant snail of transportation lender and taking a this big boy for a few weeks. You'll see, it's very relaxing
Beward of the small squirrel, they can eat your food savings during the night.
I got the idea very fast as I recalled a picture that I've always seen on Pinterest (This one) and always wanted to try to do something with it.
With the announcement of the result of Summer Joust and all the kind messages I recieved (Thank you for that, means the world), I lost about 2-3h even if I had the idea super early compared to the others round.
The last hours were the rush as I had to do a lot of things, but I'm very happy with the result
Hope you like it :)
Rumors have begun to spread across the mountain - rumors of a mysterious temple carved into the rock; and within, a monster. The remains of some long-lost samurai, come to take his revenge...
I'm participating in vignweek, a contest where you have to build a vignette between 16x16 and 32x32 every day for a week. The theme for day one is to build a lair, so here's my entry! I hope you like it!
