baby I’m coming, better ready yourself
be looking for me ’cause I’m the real thing
I know what you’re used to
well, tell them to step aside
’cause you put a spell on me
an’ I can’t help but find you
oh, let me remind you
baby I’m coming better ready yourself
be looking for me ‘cause I’m the real thing...
I used to have a small compact camera Fuji S1600, a low tech auto-everything point and shoot camera.
Ever since I got my compact Fuji X10, I have been shooting less often with this small camera.
I do not want to dump it as it is still working fine. However once in a while I would pick it up and give it a shot. By that it stays active and I make sure everything is still working in the camera.
So I took it out the other day and shot a simple still life at my kitchen with the Coke mugs collection from my wife.
The auto-everything camera is working fine I think!
Wish you a great Wednesday!

I saw this exact same cadaver in a show called Weird or What? which is a blatant ripoff of Believe It or Not.
Had a quick play with free lensing at my desk this lunch time (shooting with the lens detached from the body and angled to skew the plane of focus).
A railway truck painted on the bridge over the railway in Lockleaze, Bristol. In the background a real train is about to pass under the bridge.
Once I crossed the bridge of light, I turned to see what that little bridge was crossing. To my amazement, the most wonderful reflection I could ever imagine...a reflection of the moon in that still, blue water. Some had their backs turned, unfortunate not to see, but I got see, and wonder at that beautiful moon~reflection and the gift it was to me.
It made me think of my dad, who was just a few feet from me, struggling with a dreaded disease called Alzeheimers. At times, he is fully my dad, and at other times he is a reflection of who he used to be.
In that moment, this moon~reflection became symbolic for me...I slowly began to understand the power and reality that this reflection was as important as the real thing. Suddenly, the reflection had a deeper meaning, a stronger voice, a reminder to all that was. A visible symbol & image to recall at any time I wish or need.
I felt a huge thank you in my heart, and a gratitude reminder, welling up from those still blue waters.
I love you Dad!

The sole surviving 1978 Coca-Cola/Levi-Strauss Triumph TR7, at speed near Elton, Cambridgeshire, England.
The TR7 was chosen as the competition giveaway for Coca-Cola's 1978 ‘All Summer Long‘ promotion, with one up for grabs every month during that long, hot summer. British Leyland, Coca-Cola and Levi-Strauss - now there's a bizarre alliance - teamed up to make the the sporty wedge something a little out-of-the-ordinary. Externally, the Triumphs were finished in Coca-Cola red and white, while inside, jeans manufacturer Levi-Strauss re-trimmed the interiors in blue denim, including 501 jeans pockets on the sun visors and door trims. There was even a fridge in the boot and a television in the glovebox!
Only three were made, each given away as a prize, along with £500 spending money. To stand a chance of winning, entrants had to list as many words as possible from the phrase ‘All Summer’. The overall winner managed an amazing 315 words and thus earned himself a very special Triumph TR7. And this is it...
Taken near Elton, Cambridgeshire, England on September 14, 2010.
