There are some places that contribute to enhance the beauty of music, provide a historical framework and an intimacy that the senses appreciate. Last Friday, the mobile phones, rose in the Plaça del Rei(Barcelona) wanting to capture that magic.

[PT] Ontem, foi a vez de uma "Nez-Cassé" da segunda série ficar encarregue de tracionar o IR 830, mais concretamente a 2623.
É de realçar que este 2º lote de carruagens Arco foi decorado com recurso a vinil. Esta decoração realça o Minho, e um dos melhores exemplos é o galo de Barcelos.
[EN] Yesterday, it was the turn of a "Nez-Cassé" from the second series to be in charge of pulling the IR 830, more specifically the 2623.
It should be noted that this 2nd batch of Arco carriages was decorated using vinyl. This decoration highlights Minho, and one of the best examples is the Rooster of Barcelos.

You won't find it while driving on the interstate. You won't find it by flying over the heartland of the country. The romance of the road can only be found by cruising the two-lane, back roads of America.

Before there was a Route 66, there was The Lincoln Highway, now US 30. It is still possible to capture some of that early travel magic in small towns across the high plains of Nebraska and Wyoming. You can get the same experience, driving US 34 and 36 , across the eastern plains of Colorado and into Nebraska or Kansas. Along all these routes are survivors, like the Holiday Motel on the west side of Julesburg, Colorado, who would love to have you stop for a night or two as your family explores the region. There are an amazing number of fascinating stories being told across the region by gifted story tellers. Wildlife abounds.
By taking a two-lane vacation, you will also help support small town, Mom and Pop cafes and restaurants. When President Eisenhower authorized the Federal-Aid Highway Act of 1956, he did so hoping to improve the nation's commerce. Little did he know, over the long run, the act would mean a slow death to small town businesses across America. As chain motels and fast food restaurants grabbed up real estate at the highway exits, the towns those exits were supposed to serve saw business plummet. When you and your family take a step back to the idea of seeing America's heartland first, you can, one visit at a time, help return small towns to prosperity.
Next vacation, plan a trip down a two-lane highway, get off the beaten, interstate path and discover for yourself what the romance of the road is all about,

Corpus Christi (Latin for Body of Christ) is a Christian feast in honour of the Holy Eucharist. It was originally assigned to the Thursday following Trinity Sunday, thereby mirroring Holy Thursday, the Thursday of Holy Week, the day on which Christians commemorate The Last Supper of Jesus Christ and his apostles, seen as the first Holy Eucharist. Many English-speaking countries celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi on the Sunday after Trinity Sunday — on the Sunday after the traditional Thursday celebration in other countries. It is customary on this day, after Mass, to hold processions (often outdoors) with the Host followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
Corpus Christi is primarily celebrated by the Roman Catholic Church but it is also included in the calendar of a few Anglican churches, most notably the Church of England. Anglo-Catholic parishes in other countries observe it unofficially. In Roman Catholic parishes that use the Mass of Paul VI, the feast is known as "the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ". In the Church of England it is known as The Day of Thanksgiving for the Institution of Holy Communion (Corpus Christi) and has the status of a Festival. It is also celebrated by the Old Catholic Church and by some Western Rite Orthodox Christians, and is commemorated in the liturgical calendars of the more Latinized Eastern Catholic Churches.
Corpus Christi (latim para Corpo de Cristo) é uma festa móvel da Igreja Católica que celebra a presença real e substancial de Cristo na Eucaristia.
É celebrada na quinta-feira após a Festa da Santíssima Trindade, que acontece no domingo depois de Pentecostes. É uma festa de 'preceito', isto é, para os católicos é de comparecimento obrigatório assistir à Missa neste dia, na forma estabelecida pela Conferência Episcopal do país respectivo.
A procissão pelas vias públicas, quando é feita, atende a uma recomendação do Código Canônico (art. 944) que determina ao Bispo diocesano que a providencie, onde for possível, "para testemunhar publicamente a veneração para com a santíssima Eucaristia, principalmente na solenidade do Corpo e Sangue de Cristo." É recomendado que nestas datas, a não ser por causa grave e urgente, não se ausente da diocese o Bispo (art. 395).
A origem da Solenidade do Corpo e Sangue de Cristo remonta ao Século XIII. A Santa Igreja sentiu necessidade de realçar a presença real do "Cristo todo" no pão consagrado. A Festa de Corpus Christi foi instituída pelo Papa Urbano IV com a Bula ‘Transiturus’ de 11 de agosto de 1264, para ser celebrada na quinta-feira após a Festa da Santíssima Trindade, que acontece no domingo depois de Pentecostes.
O ofício foi composto por São Tomás de Aquino o qual, por amor à tradição litúrgica, serviu-se em parte de Antífonas, Lições e Responsórios já em uso em algumas Igrejas

Forest mind é um projeto artístico de Ursula Biemann que explora a relação entre as pessoas e as florestas no contexto das alterações climáticas. O projeto consiste numa série de vídeos, instalações e textos que documentam a forma como as florestas de diferentes regiões do mundo são afetadas por fenómenos como a desflorestação, os incêndios, a seca e as invasões de insetos. Forest mind procura realçar a importância das florestas para o equilíbrio ecológico e cultural do planeta e sensibilizar para as ameaças e os desafios que estes ecossistemas vitais enfrentam.
Forest mind is an art project by Ursula Biemann that explores the relationship between people and forests in the context of climate change. The project consists of a series of videos, installations and texts documenting how forests in different regions of the world are affected by phenomena such as deforestation, fires, drought and insect invasions. Forest mind seeks to highlight the importance of forests to the ecological and cultural balance of the planet, and to raise awareness of the threats and challenges facing these vital ecosystems.

[PT] Devido a um infeliz acontecimento envolvendo o Intercidades 523, causando um enorme atraso, o Intercidades 528 que é realizado com a mesma composição do 523, teve ontem de ser realizado com a locomotiva Alstom 2611 juntamente com 3 carruagens Corail, regressando hoje ao norte no Intercidades 521.
É de realçar que apesar da limitação a T-160, a "Nez-Cassé" chegou à tabela tanto a Lisboa Santa Apolónia (no Intercidades 528), quer ao Porto (no caso deste no Intercidades 521).
[EN] Due to an unfortunate event involving the Intercidades 523, causing a huge delay, the Intercidades 528, which is carried out with the same composition as the 523, yesterday had to be carried out with the locomotive Alstom 2611 together with 3 Corail carriages, returning today to the north on Intercidades 521.
