Little artificial lake located at the beginning of the geologic parc "Parco delle gole della Breggia". I love the intense reflection of the sky into the water. Less appreciable is the building on the left top picture side. A little church known as the sanctuary of "Santa Maria dei Miracoli" opens on the ridge of the gorge.
This is an HDR image that I uploaded for a current discussion regarding "realistic clouds" and can they be captured using multi-exposure techniques. Here is the discussion:

The sunset and autumnal colors have attracted my attention. This was a perfect situation for an HDR! Odd is the fact that the trees are all bended in the same direction.
HDR composed by five shots taken with different shutter speeds (1/1000, 1/100, 1/50, 1/10, 1/4; f 5.6) . The colors are slightly saturated (in particular the red) compared to the original ones.
Comments and constructive criticisms are always welcomed!
(real) HDR from EV Bracketing +/- 2 with aperture f/18 on tripod and tonemapped with Photomatix. Eventually I have desaturated the red tones and added some contrast thanks to Lightroom.
HDR composite image produced by overlaying a Reinhard05 tonemapped image with a Fattal tonemapped image at a transparency of 25-50%. Image produced from raw files of three different exposures (-2EV, 0EV, +2EV).
Qtpfsgui 1.9.3 tonemapping parameters:
Operator: Reinhard05
Parameters:
Brightness: -10
Chromatic Adaptation: 1
Light Adaptation: 0

PreGamma: 1
Operator: Fattal

HDR composed by five shots taken with different shutter speeds (1/100, 1/50,1/20,1/10, 1/4; f 3.5) . The light conditions were very poor.

by robswift127 ift.tt/1D04MDW If you know me well enough you know i have a weird obsession with bridges, so here's one i shot yesterday. #coloradostreetbridge at #goldenhour #hdr at -2,0,2. #blackcarded the sky in all three exposures to highlight the bridge and deepen the #sunset. I started at the center and moved out for the #tonemapping and ended up getting lazy at the last corner, so the left hand suicide rails look like shit. Whatever. #suicidebridge #pasadena #bridges #skyporn #clouds #realhdr #fuckyourphotomatix #chemtrails

mshtal: WOW!
phoggus: @traymun @rippz99 @riaeds @ricmon3 @mshtal Thanks dear friends. It was a happy accident really. I took a photo with the Real HDR app while moving
mshtal: Which HDR app?? Inquiring minds....
phoggus: @mshtal Sorry, not RealHDR. The app is called TrueHDR. It seems to be the better of the bunch
mshtal: Great thanks for the info!
fishhead2519: Superb use of the hdr. Tremendous image mate, love this
phoggus: @fishhead2519 Cheers mate
burgerp: Awesome edit
Vertical HDR-Panorama picture consisting of 4 shots. The 4 shots have been merged by using hugin with a fisheye projection (OpenEXR as output file). For each position I have taken three shots by adopting the camera exposure bracketing with +/- 2 EV. According to the Photomatix HDR-histogram the HDR covers about 10 EV. As tone-mapper operator I have used the Detail Enhancer of photomatix. Eventually I have perfomed some desaturations and USM refinements in Photoshop.

I was up and the sun was rising, cant really see the sun rising from here, but the morning view is still nice to look at.
Took a similar photo last year
yeah, that's gotta be breaking some rules...
weird 16x9 vertical crop, as if the composition isn't strange enough...
