This guy was very focused on his book when I started to get closer to take his picture. He saw me creeping in, closed his book and went away. I need to get better at this candid photography thing.... hahahaha
I always scare my subjects away!!! hahaha
I skipped yesterday photo so hopefully I'll catch up today!
Thank you all so much for leaving such amazing comments on my stream. Cheers
If I was the type, this would be the perfect spot to just chill out outside in a nice shady spot and enjoy a good book. I have to admit that I’m not too well read, but I can appreciate being in a good spot to enjoy the experience though. Nice cuppa coffee to boot and I bet you’d be in heaven.

This is where you will find me this winter. So grateful for my new chair and a cozy spot to read, drink tea and daydream. #htfgratitude #cozy #november #readingspot
Probably my favorite place at the National Arboretum is at the entrance to the Magnolia Groves. Besides being so beautiful, it holds memories for me which are as sweet as the aroma from the blossoms themselves.
If you bring a cushion you can read a book there in magnolia paradise.
You'll find a similar shot to this on a very cloudy day last year, so I'm glad to add this one beside it.
Formation for me, is like dropping into a discipline...like pouring water into a cup. Sure I love what appears to be lofty and unbridled theological reading, but I am also humble enough to let my soul rest on existing (traditional) structures.
This can be very discouraging, when you have a full day of class on the subject of reconciliation, taught by a veteran priest...that is using canon law.
I am reminded by one thought I keep having...we may think that we our bound by structures but God is not.

Wisdom cries out in the street; in the squares she raises her voice. At the busiest corner she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks: “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? . . . I will pour out my thoughts to you; I will make my words known to you.” (Prov 1: 20-23)
i should save every shot for my project, but the film came in today and i couldn't wait // Polaroid PX 680 film // Sept 2011 // this might be shot on the last day of summer, supposedly - but Florida ain't ready to fold just yet this year // i'll get my swimmin pictures yet, you'll see
Lastours (Occitan: Las Tors) is a commune in the Aude department in southern France. Population in 2008, 165.
Lastours is located 12 km (7.5 mi) outside Carcassonne, in the valley of the Orbiel. There are four small castles each built on a large 300 m high rocky ridge. The castles were built to control the access to Montagne Noire and the Cabardes region. These are some of the few original Cathar castles left.
I already miss it. I love my backyard in Mt. Prospect...I used to throw a tennis ball against the garage right there for hours and hours, now I just read and read...
We'll add a table for boardgames & doing puzzles. The cushions will have removable, washable, seasonal covers. #hygge #readingspot #sunroom #wraparound #bench #offgriddreamhouse #☕ #📖 #♟️ #🎲 #
This has become my new favourite place at Andrzej’s parents house. The perfect reading corner.

One of my reading-sessions I took a gaze outside the window from my readingspot in the library, wasn't difficult to take a break.
