«It was - it is - there comes a column» (Norwegian: Det var - det er - det kommer en søyle). One of three parts of a textile installation made by the artist Gitte Dæhlin (1956 - 2012) at the University Library in Tromsø, Norway. Four persons (one is hidden behind the column) represented by 4 pairs of legs coming out of the column. They represent 4 different cultural anchorings, each one reading their own paper. They are faceless, or the faces are hidden in the centre of the column, giving the perception that the reading encapsulates each and one of them in their own world.

Nous avons à faire à un véritable lecteur expérimenté. Un de ces dévoreurs de journaux dont la précision du geste n'a d'égale que sa concentration à toute épreuve..
Et il faut l'avouer, ça fait plaisir à voir. :-)
Testing first roll of Ferrania Solaris, a dirt cheap Italian film that the lovely Julia introduced me to. Gracias otra vez guapa! :) Estos son los colores tal cual.
This is the shot as it came out of the camera.
In the Seattle area, Ferrania Solaris is available--under the Kroger brand--in 200, 400 and 800 ISO, at Fred Meyer stores. Go get some today!
