Okay, maybe just maybe I have a few extra M2M Lea heads...so when I find a new body, I'm pretty happy to fix her up.
Re-root in Oxidized Julia and left pretty long--I couldn't even use all the holes for fear of Troll-ing her head! Super pleased, up on Ebay.https://www.ebay.com/itm/162894944895?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
I finally splurged on the desk! I can't wait to get it in the mail! But now I have to ban myself on buying any Re-ment for awhile! (This is not my photo, i borrowed it from the Ebay seller who prolly took it off the Re-ment site) Heehee ;)
Seen from the Surrey Hills, a Raven cruises above. At least one pair is now thought to be resident in the area, after decades of absence from SE England.
With the 'Tour de France' cycle race kicking off here this year, another 'related' item - opening the 2014 RAF Waddington Airshow was the first of No.51 Squadron's three 'new' and 're-cycled' Boeings in the shape of RC-135W 'Rivet Joint' - ZZ664 seen here performing it's second overshoot of the morning.
She departed in the rain shortly before 10 am and returned later to open proceedings performing a couple of approaches before landing back along with other based assets in the form of a 5 Squadron Sentinel and another Boeing '707' derivative - an E-3 Sentry.
Previously with the USAF as a standard KC-135R tanker, the fleet have been highly modified to 'Rivet Joint' standard to replace the squadron's previous Nimrod R.1's.
Tipping the 'nod' to their previous mounts, the serials have retained the last three digits in that the (originally delivered) Nimrods were XW664-666 and the Rivet Joints are ZZ664-666.
I missed taking a photo on April 2nd by 20 minutes. :(

TBD 278G is seen here disused at Express Motors in July 95, who had purchased it in 1986 from United Counties, for use on tendered work along with 284, which was also disused on site at the same time

the greenie pair have returned to the far west pond below cedar point......seen one of them gathering sticks for a possible nest and this one looking for a snack
In case you folks are wondering, I'm still here.
Big move is tomorrow. I've been packing and packing. Took 52 weeks shots on sunday, didn't even upload them to the computer. Meh, soon.
I'm not sure whether the dogs suspect anything or not. Turns out they have almost as much stuff as i do! God I'm tired of packing.
The good news is that the weather in Kiev has gotten milder just for us! The high is just above freezing during the day, which is excellent. Especially considering that its been -10 to -20C *highs* this month there. I bring forth good weather ;)
Fingers crossed that all goes well for us!! That the flight is smooth and I don't have any issues with the boys.
