GC Rd2 1136 with a container train Hallsberg - Göteborg Frihamn on the Västra Stambana at Norsesund.
The loco brought a postal service into the terminus from the nearby depot for mail to be added. A sister loco then coupled onto the front to take the train forward. The driver spared no amps in leaving the station, I reckon the speed was approaching 40kmh when the locomotive passed me. A fine sight and sound as dusk fell just before 10pm.

4th September 2016. On a soutbound mixed train between Hallsberg and Mjölby. The line between Degerön and Hallsberg was being doubled at this time and a new bridge under construction provided a useful vantage point for this shot.
