The floats/pylons were cut in half and cleaned out to allow the plastic spar to be angled and keep the front of each float at a 15 degree raised angle from the stock position. Waiting for any Gorilla glue to ooze out and be wiped off. I'll have to fill and sand before finishing with a new coat of gloss black paint.
The angle is not showing in this photo, but each float has a raised 15 degree angle to the front of each pylon/float tip. This mod is different than the stock position of the floats. I didn't have to cut the bottom of each plastic spar in order to make this mod.
Waiting on the Gorilla Glue to dry out. I'll keep an eye on each float to wipe off any oozing the Gorilla Glue does as the halves dry together. I'll finish by filling the seams and then painting a gloss black to the floats.
