The Chorus is an art installation by artist/composer Ray Lee. It was a series of metal tripods with rotating arms. There is a loudspeaker at the end of the arm which produces a musical pitch, resulting in a choir of music. There were 4 performances a day and the intsallation was illuninated for the 11pm one. From a collection of photographs taken at the sell-out 2014 WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance)
festival at CharltonPark near Malmesbury, Wiltshire. 2014 ranks as the best so far for us
- great music, quality food and fine weather. We decided not to lug our heavy camera kit around
this year so these were all taken on a compact (G15/16). See www.WOMAD.co.uk for more informaiton
about this wonderful annual festival.
