Over Exposed: This shot was previously a little washed out with dull colors

Originally underexposed image of a horse in his trailer, taken through an open side door. Taken at 1/60s, f/5, and ISO 100, with a handheld 50mm prime lens.

Increased exposure in Camera Raw by 1.3 stops. Also adjusted white balance from 4800 to 6500. Recovered details in horse's face (in the darker areas), in the hay and metalwork behind, and improved contrast throughout as a result.

I changed the saturation, cropped it, and lowered the exposure by about .7 stops. This is my "everyone's a critic" photo

I used photorookie_1's advice and combined a second image that was less overexposed to balance out the differences. It also made the contrast pop a bit more.

RobinD aka "Sarge1" and Alex Corona at Raw Materials. The two artists created the temporary window installation at Raw Materials shortly after last month's art walk. This piece and others will be on display this month at Raw Materials. A follow up show which will include four artists including Robin and Alex will take place this Saturday at Raw Materials from 5 to 8pm.

This is one of my little neighbours that gave me all that wool.

I was able to bring out detail in the water. But I'm having trouble with the sky being blown out. Suggestions?
