122/365, Canon PowerShot S95, 6-22.5 mm, 1/250 sec at f/2.5, 7.49mm

Cleaned the lens on my Duaflex IV and replaced the original version Duaflex on my Tinker Tube (PVC) TTV Rig. This is one of the test shots taken in the machine shop over my lunch break.

I'm probably going to clean up (completely) one of my Duaflex models, so that I have one completely free of dust (etc) but still deciding which one.

This was taken with a S-M-C Takumar Macro 50mm f4.0 on a Pentax K200D through a Kodak Duaflex IV.

Atelier NL - Hasselt Typology

in Z33, Hasselt

Could local raw materials give rise to new local product lines?

Atelier NL makes region-specific products which demonstrate how richly endowed the earth is with raw materials and how valuable they can be locally. Each material yields a different product and tells a different story. In this connection, Atelier NL reveals its fascination with production processes. Their local experiments stimulate science and industry to develop useful and sustainable new applications.

For MANUFACTUUR 3.0, Atelier NL will start by mapping (raw) material resources found in the region of Hasselt. The results of the workshop Mapping Typology on

September 27th act as a first research layer.

This will be followed by a study in relation to the materials found. It will look in particular at the possibility of developing a local version of earthenware and glass tableware, such as a jenever (gin) glass made from local sand.
