365 {Day Three}
“It's possible to forget how alive we really are. We can become dry and tired, just existing, instead of really living. We need to remind ourselves of the juice of life, and make that a habit. Find those places inside that jump for joy, and do things.”
I was up all night with my 6 month old. I'm pretty sure his 6th tooth is working it's way down. I needed a major energy boost this morning so I whipped this together:
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
1 whole apple
1 beet
Jammed in the juicer and chugged.
Kids, don't try this at home. Contrary to popular belief, beets stain. Two hours later I still have a pink mustache.
As I've been unwell the last few days, and unable to get out and take photos, here's a pic of something a bit more domestic than usual - my morning raw juice.
Today's blend includes pear, lemon, cucumber, baby spinach, ginger, and mint. Normally I add a dash of cinnamon and turmeric powders (and occasionally maca powder as well), but today I forgot.
I've been experimenting with having a raw juice first thing in the morning for almost a year now. As I don't drink coffee, I have found it to be a nice ritual to have at the beginning of each day.

I met Lousey on the train home from university in the evening, and we did a bit of shopping before he took me to Wagamama for dinner. We noticed the new Wi-Fi access signs and as he had his laptop with him, he decided to try it out... - We're skyping to Missus Malin in this photo! (She got to watch us eat our dinner, lucky her!)
The waiter was mildly amused when he got to say hello to Malin, and the people sitting either side of us only began to seem concerned when I got my camera out... Ho-hum!
Turns out that Danbo is scared of asparagus, an odd phobia, but apparently a very real one ;-)
