Late summer 2021, silhouettes at the 3 Cime di Lavaredo. Very early morning, I couldn't resist to press the shutter!

A small exercise, as I haven't much time lately for going out to shoot, that I called "Oldies re-edit" 😁.

And it's good for practicing on my new C1Pro...

So this is the first sample, shot in 2019 with my previous D7500. Did love the sun peeping out between the trunks and the whole lighting situation.

Location: Acquafraggia, Sondrio province, Northern Italy.

In the beginning of January we went launching rockets at the Snow Ranch in the California Central Valley. It is a huge ranch with 3000 acres / 1200 hectares. Snow Ranch, operated by the Orvis Cattle Company, has a long history. It has also been the backdrop for many movies including The Big Country, Sam Whiskey, Little House on the Prairie, and Shout. We left the launch site a bit late and were rewarded with a beautiful sunset - we drove on a dirt road and stopped the car at a flooded grass field to enjoy the sunset.

Does anyone recognize the title?

I processed a photographic HDR photo from three RAW exposure. This photo looks pretty close to one of the source exposures.

Und manchmal zeigt es sich einfach wieder, dass die besten Bilder durch völligen Zufall entstehen 😅

Ich war gerade noch am Terrasse sauber machen, weil wir zu Abend mit der Familie gegrillt haben. War schon alles soweit fertig und ich war am Nachdrinnen gehen. Noch ein paar Sachen in die Spülmaschine geräumt und dachte mir: „Komm, den Sonnenschirm klappst du draußen auch noch ein“ 😅 Also nochmal raus und ZACK ! Da war er, der Ballon und der Sonnenuntergang in einem Lichtschauspiel und Kombination, die ich so wirklich noch nie gesehen habe 😅 Und vor allem auch so extrem tief, einfach unfassbar 😍
