National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Fromer Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today asserted that our party BJP will do well in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections as its main plank is development. Talking with the media person here today Grewal said that he is quite sure that the people, like rest of the country, will choose development as the main plank. He said that our party ( BJP ) will do extremely well because none of the parties, mainstream or otherwise in Jammu and Kashmir has brought in development for people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also stated that we have seen what kind of development is taking place in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal said that each and everybody have seen what has happened in the recent floods in the State. So we can keep narrating incidents to you where the Governments have floundered out here. Grewal said that none of them has benefited the people so far and so I think a time has come for the people to choose a party which will stand by them in the developmental needs of the state Jammu and Kashmir. He said he has come here to meet the people who are in the party and those who are fighting the five-phase Assembly polls, scheduled to begin on November 25, 2014. Grewal said that he have come here to meet our people who are in the party organisation and also to meet the people who are our candidates and get a feel how things are going. Asked about the posters calling for boycott of the polls, Grewal said that when people start putting up posters it shows that they are absolutely insecure. They know their influence is going down everywhere in the State. Grewal said that I am quite sure people of Kashmir want development, people of Kashmir want a similar type of lifestyle which rest of the country enjoys. They want all facilities which should come and these are not going to come by some militant group, i.e. Hizbul Mujahideen, they are not going to come by any separatists who have some other agendas. He said development can be ensured only when people can take part in the democratic process by electing a government that can do something for them. Grewal stated about BJP stand on Article 370 which guarantees special status to Jammu and Kashmir, he said our party BJP wants a discussion on various such things for the benefit of the people of the country. He said that article 370 is there in the country, is part of the Constitution. All that we said in the party at some point of time that there are lot of such things in the country which need to be discussed so that we can ensure that these work for the benefit of the people of the State. He also said that on the possibility of our party BJP entering post-poll alliance in Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal said that the polls get over our party will decide. These things will only come up once the elections take place and we come to know how the things are in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

New Delhi ( 09 June 2017) : Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha unearth a big scam in selection of Rajeev Mehrotra CMD RITES by UPA Government, Ineligible person illegally appointed to the post. BJP's Farmers Leader, write al letter to CVC Shri. KV Chaudhry and Hon'ble Railway Minister Shri. Suresh Prabhu that Ineligible person Rajeev Mehrotra has been illegally appointed to the post of CMD RITES and now he is bringing bad name to the Government by not implementing the current Government Policies and programs. He said that, I had gone deep into the wrongful selection of the CMD RITES Shri Rajeev Mehrotra who was selected by Former Railways Minister C.P.Joshi despite the fact that Mehrotra do not fulfill the basic eligibility requirement. Asper the recruitment rules, CMD RITES must possess the ‘Degree in Engineering or MBA’. But Shri Rajeev Mehrotra is only a ICWA and does not have either of the two essential degrees and is as such totally ineligible for this post.Despite ineligible for the post of CMD RITES, the previous UPA Government corruptly appointed Rajeev Mehrotra to this post violating the selection criteria as is exposed through information sought under RTI Act. Grewal told it is a settled law that an appointment made in violation of eligibility criteria must be declared null and void. Therefore, I impress upon the Hon’ble CVC to follow rule of law and remove Rajeev Mehrotra from the post of CMD RITES immediately so to ensure fair investigations into his illegal appointment. Since his appointment is illegal, all payments and salary given to Rajeev Malhotra since 2010 is illegitimate and loss to public exchequer and so must be recovered from him by CVC without any delay. He said that Former Railways Minister C.P.Joshi at that time personally ensured the selection of Rajeev Mehrotra and in return Rajeev Mehrotra is now working to discredit the present Government Policies and Programs. He said that the personal involvement of Congress Railways Minister C.P.Joshi in the selection of Rajeev Mehrotra can be seen from the fact that the then MD RITES V.K.Aggarwal, an officer of 1974 batch of Indian Railways Engineering service,was suspended on the last day his retirement on 31st Oct 2010 to make way for Rajeev Mehrotra. The circumstances under which Rajeev Mehrotra needs investigations since he does not fulfill the eligibility conditions and his appointment to the post of CMD RITES is illegal and is a case of glaring corruption. Grewal told about CMD Rajeev Mehrotra is earning Rs 46 lakh a year and drawing bonus of Rs 15-20 lakh per year since last 7 years. In addition he is having fully furnished house, free memberships of 2-3 clubs and a number of other benefits. His financial dealings need to be scrutinized immediately since a large amount of bad debts and doubtful debts have been created beside doubtful payments of huge amounts to consultants, direct purchases made under CSR though prohibited under law and illegitimate gifts and gift amounts to railways officials in contraventions to Government Policies. He said that he has written a letter to K.V.Chowdhary Hon’ble Chief Vigilance Commissioner, Narendra Modi ji, Hon’ble Prime Minister, Government of India, Arun Jaitley Ji, Hon’ble Finance Minister, Defense, Corporate Affairs, Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji, Hon’ble Minister for DOPT, New Delhi and Ajit Doval Ji, Hon’ble National Security Advisor about this scam, about the CMD RITES and now he is bringing bad name to the Government by not implementing Policies and programs, the current Narendra Modi's Government.

National BJP Leader from Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will contest in all the 87 Assembly constituencies in the upcoming Assembly polls. Talking with the media persons here today he said we won't be entering into any prepoll alliance with any political party as we are considering to field our candidates on all the 87 assembly constituencies in the state Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal while expressing confidence that his party would replicate its recent performance in Haryana and Maharashtra elections in Jammu and Kashmir, he said that our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was confident to win more than 44 seats in the State. Grewal stated that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will go beyond 44 seats and form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir and our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would soon come out with the first list of its candidates as the Election Commission has announced the dates for assembly elections in the state. He said our focus would be on the candidates who are capable to win, those who have a clean image and who can deliver. The party's election committee will hold a meeting today to decide the names of the candidates. Grewal said the party wants to strengthen democracy in the state and its main poll plank would be to provide corruption free governance to the people. He told that our manifesto is clear, we will provide a corruption free, fear free and dynasty free governance to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. We want the people of the state to give us a chance and if we fail they can throw us out after six years. Grewal said the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased many fold amongst the people of Kashmir especially the muslim population in Kashmir was keen to give Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) a chance in the state. He said the people in Kashmir, especially muslim population and have come closer to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said the people in the valley have appreciated the efforts of Prime Minister in providing them relief and rehabilitation after the devastating floods. Grewal said now the common people of the state want Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to come and hold election rallies in the state and we are hopeful that he would oblige them. Grewal launched an attack on National Conference and Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his opposition to the timing of holding assembly elections in the state. Grewal said Omar Abdullah has failed to deliver and like a student who knows he would fail in the exams and is afraid to face them and he too is aware that he would loose hence he objected to elections. Grewal said if voted to power his party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would resolve the long pending issues of the refugees from West Pakistan and the Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

National Bharatiya Janata Party leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal hailed Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's BJP Government decision to ban the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) as an unlawful association. Grewal welcome the banning of Pro-Khalistan outfit. BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary and Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Grewal described it as the first step towards protecting the nation from the anti-India and secessionist designs of the ISI-backed organisation, SFJ. In a press conference here today he said that our Government must initiate steps to extradite SFJ’s legal head Gurpatwant Singh Pannu from USA who is wanted in several cases in Punjab. Grewal told that this step is only one part of the strategy to tackle terror while the situation warrants going all out against such organizations fuelling terror in Punjab and leading the youth astray. Grewal also demand from his Party's BJP Union Government the extradition of SFJ supremo Gurpatwant Singh Pannu from USA. He cleared that Pannu is wanted in several FIR's registered in Punjab and the latter must be extradited to India to face the law. Grewal said that Pannu also helped the mastermind of Nabha Jailbreak incident Romy in Hong Kong. He told the SFJ, especially Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, are engaged neck-deep into providing financial and all other kinds of support to the separatist elements in Punjab border state of India in order to advance his devious agenda for Referendum 2020 which aims to balkanize the country. Grewal cleared that Sikhs for Justice is just confined to social media and has no ground support in our Punjab state and the country. National BJP leader Grewal said that our Central Government also assist our Punjab in fighting terror as it is a border state. Grewal said that there will be no compromise on the issue of "National Security" as it is above all and supreme for each and every Indian across the World.

Talking with the media persons here today, Grewal said since farmers are the country's biggest revenue earners, it is the duty and responsibility of the government-run banks to protect them during dire situations or when they are in trouble. He also appreciate National President BJP Kisan Morcha and Lok Sabha member from Uttar Pradesh Shri Virendra Singh Mast who countered Urjit Patel's opinion that such a move "undermines an honest credit culture" and could "affect the national balance sheet" and also talked about the "need to create a consensus such that loan waiver promises are eschewed."
Grewal said that it's well known to each and everybody that Urjit Patel heads the government's business, economic institution and hence he has looked at the issue from a business-economic perspective, but the job of the government is also to take a humanitarian view of things." He said that for banks the "maximum deposits come from the rural areas and most of the recovery of money also comes from farmers, hence it is some sort of a duty for them to stand by the farmers when they are in dire situations." So I t is a temporary measure and not a permanent move, the BJP Kisan Morch.
Adding he said, "when banks were nationalised in the country one of the purposes was to have 45% of their activity to help development in the country. Hence protecting farmers in need is a duty that banks cannot ignore." Hailing from a farming background himself BJP Kisan Morcha leader said that since 82% of the country's population constitutes of farmers who provide for maximum revenue to the government, it is the duty of the government and nationalised banks to bail them out when they are in trouble across the country.

Grewal said that he is confident that our saffron party will be in power at the Centre for the next 30 years. Talking with the media persons here today, he stated that in order to do so, an elaborate six-month campaign would be rolled out soon in which 15 lakh members would be identified as active members who would help realize the Bharatiya Janata party's ( BJP ) target. Grewal also stated that stressing that the party Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) would not rest on its laurels after becoming the biggest political outfit in the world by enrolling 10 crore members, he said that the time had now come to take things to the next level. "Our party BJP stand at a special juncture in our party's history. We need to take our achievements to the maximum possible people in the country for which we need a strong force of dedicated partymen," he said. He added that a door-to-door campaign would be initiated this month which would continue till July, during which all the 10 crore members would be contacted. Grewal said that after the members' records are digitized, he said, 15 lakh members would be identified as active members who would fan out across the country and work in a dedicated manner to inform people about the party's plans, policies and achievements. Before they embark on their mission. Grewal said that the party's active members would be trained extensively from August to October this year. "Our party BJP is looking at using technology in a big way to boost our party. Right from e-library to modern means of communication, all would be made available at district party offices by December end this year. Grewal said that each and everybody have seen what has happened in the recent floods in the State. So we can keep narrating incidents to you where the Governments have floundered out here. Grewal said that none of them has benefited the people so far and so I think a time has come for the people to choose a party which will stand by them in the developmental needs of the state Jammu and Kashmir. He said he has come here to meet the people who are in the party and those who are fighting the five-phase Assembly polls, scheduled to begin on November 25, 2014. Grewal said that he have come here to meet our people who are in the party organisation and also to meet the people who are our candidates and get a feel how things are going. Asked about the posters calling for boycott of the polls, Grewal said that when people start putting up posters it shows that they are absolutely insecure. They know their influence is going down everywhere in the State. Grewal said that I am quite sure people of Kashmir want development, people of Kashmir want a similar type of lifestyle which rest of the country enjoys. They want all facilities which should come and these are not going to come by some militant group, i.e. Hizbul Mujahideen, they are not going to come by any separatists who have some other agendas. He said development can be ensured only when people can take part in the democratic process by electing a government that can do something for them. Grewal stated about BJP stand on Article 370 which guarantees special status to Jammu and Kashmir, he said our party BJP wants a discussion on various such things for the benefit of the people of the country. He said that article 370 is there in the country, is part of the Constitution. All that we said in the party at some point of time that there are lot of such things in the country which need to be discussed so that we can ensure that these work for the benefit of the people of the State. He also said that on the possibility of our party BJP entering post-poll alliance in Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal said that the polls get over our party will decide. These things will only come up once the elections take place and we come to know how the things are in the State of Jammu and Kashmir.

National Secretary Federation of All India Petroleum Traders Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that from 1952, FAIPT, OMC and Oil Ministry has maintained a cordial and healthy relation. Talking with the media persons at his petrol pump at ludhiana today, Grewal told that due to confidence on us dealers OMC and Oil Ministry having been taking decisions in our favour. He said that Oil Ministry and OMC have always very patiently listened to our problems and suggestions and are willing to accept and implement them in due course of time. Grewal said that on demand and insistence of FAIPT only, Apruva Chandra Committee was formed that is in favour of dealers and FAIPT is making an immense effort to this report implemented. Grewal said that a new Government is formed in our country with a new and improved agenda to work for the welfare of its citizens. He said that as a citizen of this nation it is our humble duty and responsibility to work with the Government and maintain a peaceful, healthy and growing environment in the nation. Grewal said we all are the building blocks of this nation. He said that we are the hands of Oil Ministry and OMCs who have to contribute to the growth and the progress of this nation by working on coordination. Federation of All India Petroleum Traders (FAIPT) National Secretary and Spokesperson Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that our Hon'ble National President Ashok Badhwar write a letter to Hon’ble Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan informing him about the no purchase no sale on 16th June 2017 by the petrol pumps of the country in protest against the decision of oil marketing companies to change the retail price of petroleum products on daily basis.
Grewal said that certain reports in a section of Media suggest that oil marketing companies are planning to start daily revision of price of petroleum products. If the news is correct then it shall kill the petrol dealers involved in retailing of petroleum products in the entire country in one go.
He said that the oil industry had launched a pilot project in this behalf. Dealers of five cities where it was launched have already burnt their fingers. They are crying at the inventory loss that they have already suffered due the fluctuations in the daily changing prices on the inventory held by them. Minimum that was expected of oil marketing companies was, in all fairness, to have made an objective study on the operations and profitability of retail outlets and then made any informed decision. Sadly nothing of that kind has been done and now this misadventure is going to be implemented in the entire country. Petrol dealers see a dark road ahead of them if such a misinformed decision is put in practice.
FAIPT President write to Hon'ble Minister that he very much aware that 50% of the entire dealership network sells on average 30 kls per month. One tank lorry of 18 Kls lasts most of such small dealers 7 to 10 days. Any such a decision shall wipe out his entire working capital if the prices were to go down frequently.
He said that again there are dealerships where a tank lorry takes two to three days to reach the Retail outlet. In such cases there is a strong possibility that by the time the tank lorry reaches the retail outlet its price might have already reduced leaving the dealer only to cry as he shall be in no position to withstand the loss on its capital erosion due to negative price revision
He said that FAIPT had earlier also written to you that the fortnightly revision of retail price of petroleum products was a decision taken by your learned predecessor Hon'ble Shri Ram Naik after serious deliberations with all partners including Federation of All India Petroleum Traders. If at all any modification in the current system of fortnightly revision of prices is needed then it could at best be changed to weekly revision but revising it daily would ruin the petrol retailers as it would change the character of fuel retailing to that of speculative retailing.
According FAIPT daily revision in prices shall mean that the dealer shall have to be personally present at the retail outlet every night to implement the revised prices of petrol and diesel. It is the ground reality that the new prices , even in a situation when they are changed fortnightly, are communicated by the oil industry much later than 12'o clock in the night. The dealer has to ensure the implementation of new prices in the dispensing units. The net result is that the dealer is forced to stay awake till much later in the night to effect price change. Such effort once in a fortnight is accepted by the dealer as a professional hazard but doing it daily would be beyond the physical competence of all dealers.
He told that further the entire network of PSU oil companies is far from fully automated. So there is no possibility of changing the price in the dispensing units through remote operations. Further the motoring public which has now accepted the fortnightly revision may not find it buyer friendly measure of a new price every single day.
FAIPT President said that they have never believed in giving any kind of strike call but such a measure of daily price revision shall ruin the very existence of Dealers. In a situation such as this, the federation of all India petroleum traders humbly pleads that system of daily revision of petrol prices should be dropped. Dealers of the entire country have unanimously decided that should the decision of daily revision of petrol prices not be shelved, then the dealers shall observe “NO no favorable response to drop this draconian decision then they shall go on an indefinite “NO PURCHASE NO SALE” from 24th June, 2017 till such time this decision is annulled. Hopefully such a situation will be prevented with the oil companies appreciating the vulnerability of the dealers to such a daily revision of prices.
Ashok Badhwar said that FAIPT assure Hon'ble Minister of their highest consideration at all times. Now we also do hope that with your kind intervention the oil companies shall be advised not to embark on decision like this which is the last thing which petrol dealers can bear, he said.

New Delhi: 10 October 2017- National Secretary and spokesperson of Fedration of All India Traders (FAIPT), Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today announced about United Petroleum Front (UPF), an umbrella organization of three nationwide organisations of all petrol pump dealers.
Grewal said that United Petroleum Front (UPF), an umbrella organization of three nationwide organisations of all petrol dealers that's our first step, we shall stop buying and selling petrol/diesel at all the 54,000 pumps in the country on October 13. If our demands are not accepted then from October 27, we will launch an indefinite nationwide strike.
He said that around 54,000 petrol pumps United Petroleum Front (UPF), an umbrella organization all over India will go on a day-long strike on October 13 in support of their long-pending demands, a petrol pump operators association official said here on Saturday.
Federation of All India Petroleum Traders (FAIPT) Secretary and Spokesperson Grewal said that a decision on the issue was taken at the first joint meeting of United Petroleum Front (UPF), an umbrella organization of three nationwide organisations of all petrol dealers.
Grewal stated that our petrol pump all over India demands include implementation of the pending agreement signed with oil marketing companies on November 4, 2016, scrapping unfair penalties imposed under Marketing Discipline Guidelines, and approved but not given dealer margins.
He told that the UPF has expressed concern over the losses to both consumers and dealers over the daily changing prices of oil products and bringing petroleum products under GST.
Grewal said that our petrol pump dealers all over India are fully ready to implement the decision to combine the three top dealers' association under an umbrella organisation UPF would result in better coordination and uniform action to fight for their common demands with the OMCs.
