Llamados langures Hanuman. Son arborícolas, por lo que, en las ciudades de la India, suelen instalarse en los tejados de las casas. Los hindúes los veneran como representantes del dios mono Hanuman, cuyo ejército simiesco ayudó a rescatar a Sita, la esposa del dios Rama, de las garras del rey demonio Ravana. Las caras y extremidades negras de los langures recuerdan las quemaduras que sufrió Hanuman durante el combate.
Cientos de langures se mueven libremente por las calles donde nunca les falta la comida, regalada o robada; a pesar de todo no tienen una vida fácil. Más de la mitad muere de enfermedad, infanticidio o ataques de depredadores, pero los supervivientes pueden vivir casi 40 años.
En Nueva Delhi los adiestran para que ahuyenten a los agresivos Macacos Rhesus y otros animales salvajes que pueden invadir los espacios públicos y causar destrozos.

Según el poema épico Ramaiana, Rávana, maldecido por los sabios Kumarás a nacer en la tierra por su insolencia, se hizo rey de los demonios raksasa y de los Asuras, deidades sedientas de poder y en constante guerra. En la lucha con los dioses, el vanara (dios mono) Janumán incendió la ciudad de Lanka, dominada por Rávana; al hacerlo se quemó la cara, las manos y la cola; por eso el Langur Hanumán es considerado sagrado como reencarnación del dios.
Aunque se le puede ver en núcleos urbanos, donde incluso es alimentado, el hábitat natural del langur es la selva y las sabanas arboladas. Vive en grupos jerarquizados de hembras emparentadas con sus crías y un macho semental. Una forma de reforzar los lazos familiares es “despiojarse”. El placer es mutuo: a la que se le eliminan los bichicos porque se sentirá menos molesta y la eliminadora, porque muchas veces se come a los parásitos… No hay que desperdiciar proteínas.

Traditionally a pilgrim undertakes the 52-km trekking cirquit or circumambulation (khorlam) around Mount Kailash commencing at Darchen (4575 m) and crossing the 5630 m Dolma La pass on the second day of the three-day walk. This is followed by a trek of the same duration around the beautiful turquiose Lake Manasarovar known in the Tibetan language as Mapham Yutso མ་ཕམ་གཡུ་མཚོ།

Vijayadashmi is also popularly known as Dussehra Festival in India and it is celebrated in the month of october every year with a great joy. This is the inner part of Lodalen in Norfjord, Norway. It's called Kjenndalen. Right in front you can see Ravnefjell, "Ravan mountain". The part of the mountain that is grey, and without vegetation, crashed into the lake in 1905 and 1936. 136 people lost their lives here.

The Cultist: Craw (Based on Ravan) - Proficient at martial arts, a member of a secret, and also a part of a super-terrorist team, Craw is a real stand-up guy. He was recruited to the team by his furry friend Silver Fox.
The Shadowstress: Lightshade (Based on Nightshade) - Ava Adan is a spy with dark powers who used to be in a relationship with Admiral Neutron before her whole world changed.
The Weapons Captain: Axe Blaster (Based on Captain Boomerang) - Jim Harness grew up cutting down trees and selling axes, but of course, this was not particularly lucrative, so he turned to a life of axe-blasting crime.
The Sea Creature: Sting King (Based on King Shark) - Through some really fucked up science, a stingray became a man-ta ray. Still able to use it's electrical powers to sting people, it joined the squad to satisfy its animal instincts.
The Rope Master: Rope-a-Dope (Based on Slipknot) - William Chiss. He likes ropes. He is a dope. He hopes you don't mind that he brought a snack.

Au XVIIIème siècle, on y fonde un ensemble défensif afin d'améliorer et de consolider la défense du Fort Miradou, réalisé par Vauban au XVIIème siècle. Ainsi, ces forts protègent les abords de la ville et surveillent la côte ouest et la vallée du Ravaner.
