En lo alto de ese emblemático rascacielos neoyorquino y ante semejante visión, no pude dejar de tener la sensación que en cualquier momento vería cruzar al todopoderoso Superman ondeando su capa al aire y su brazo extendido hacia su destino, o tal vez a ese menos fuerte y lo mismo de fantástico, Spiderman, lanzando sus hilos de fachada en fachada... Pero a quien realmente habría preferido ver, es al más humano de todos...Al hombre de las alas de murciélago...Al hombre volador de la capa negra...Al insuperable Batman... Al heroe de Gotham City ¡ Pero me di cuenta que soñaba despierto ! Entonces, me limite a capturar lo que tenía delante de mi vista.

Vision of Manhattan (New York) captured against the light from the Rockefeller Center's "Top of the Rock" observatory. At the top of that emblematic New York skyscraper and faced with such a vision, I could not help but have the feeling that at any moment I would see the almighty Superman waving his cape in the air and his arm stretched out towards his destiny, or perhaps that less strong and just as fantastic Spiderman, throwing his strings from facade to facade... But who I really would have preferred to see, is the most human of all...The man with bat wings...The flying man with the black cape and his thousand gadgets...The unbeatable Batman...The hero of Gotham City... Imagen de archivo reeditada del Puente de Isabel II, o también popularmente conocido como El Puente de Triana, por ser nexo de unión entre el centro urbano de Sevilla y la puerta de entrada por el Altozano, al icónico barrio de Triana....En la centro de la imagen trás el puente, se ve la silueta aún en construcción cuando hice la fotografía, de la "Torre Sevilla" un rascacielos de 185 metros de altura, obra del arquitecto Cesar Pelli, que a mi parecer rompe totalmente ese romántico skyline de tan bello puente al atardecer...Pero ahí está mi mejor encuadre con esa moderna arquitectura de fondo, desde una embarcación navegando por el centro del rio Guadalquivir

Reedit of my archive image of the Puente de Isabel II, or also popularly known as El Puente de Triana, for being a link between the urban center of Seville and the gateway through the Altozano to the iconic neighborhood of Triana....In the image center behind the bridge, you can see the silhouette still under construction when I took the picture, of the "Torre Sevilla", a skyscraper 185 meters high, the work of the architect Cesar Pelli, which in my opinion totally breaks that romantic skyline of such a beautiful bridge at sunset... But there is my frame with that modern architecture in the background, from a boat sailing down the middle of the river Guadalquivir

Esta imagen procesada con un toque personal de imaginación, parte de una captura nocturna del skyline de Jersey City. La fotografía se capturó con Iso alto (6400) desde un Ferry navegando entre Manhattan y Staten Island, con todos los inconvenientes del movimiento del buque, el propio del mar y la oscuridad en ese lugar, además de la niebla añadida....Pero como en ese momento, se me ocurrió esta idea...solo me interesaba recrear la atmósfera que existía, añadiendole también un toque creativo...Y al tener esa niebla, la definición y el máximo detalle era menos importante ¡Por lo menos para mi !

El "Metife Building" es un rascacielos de 59 plantas y 246 metros de altura, situado encima de la Grand Central Terminal en el número 200 de Park Avenue y la intersección con la Calle 45, en el Midtown Manhattan, Nueva York. Construido entre 1960 y 1963 con el nombre de "Pan Am Building", sede entonces de la aerolínea Pan American World Airways, hasta su quiebra en 1992, año enque la empresa de seguro retiró de la parte superior de su fachada el letrero de 5 metros de altura con el logo de Pan Am
El edificio es uno de los rascacielos más reconocibles de Nueva York. Diseñado en Estilo Internacional por Emery Roth & Sons con la colaboración de Walter Gropius y Pietro Belluschi, el Metlife Building (Antes, Pan Am Building) es totalmente de oficinas, con grandes plantas, volúmenes simples y ausencia de ornamentación en el exterior y el interior. En su dia fue el edificio de oficinas más grande del mundo en superfície con 56.900 metros cuadrados ... Ha sido muy popular entre los inquilinos, en buena parte por su ubicación junto a la Grand Central Terminal. Actualmente se considera que el diseño del edificio se inspiró en el de la Torre Pirelli, construida en 1956 en Milán, que ha sido un modelo también de la Alpha Tower de Birmingham (Reino Unido) y otros edificios similares en Suiza y España.
Una encuesta realizada hace algún tiempo por la revista "New York" reveló que esta torre era el edificio que los neoyorquinos más querían que se demoliera...Quizás contribuye al odio hacia el edificio, el hecho que es muy visible. porque está situado justo detrás de la estación Grand Central Terminal, fuera de la cuadrícula de calles de Manhattan, cortando por la mitad una de las avenidas con más caché (Park Avenue) El edificio, que de otro modo estaría escondido en la ciudad, está totalmente expuesto y contrasta con los edificios que lo rodean, en especial el New York Central Building (actualmente llamado Helmsley Building, en la foto por detrás de esta fachada) También obstruye parcialmente la vista del Edificio Chrysler desde el "Top Of The Rock" (En la foto se puede ver la sombra del emblemático rascacielos Chrisler) y si se mira desde mi punto de vista en la fotografía, hace pequeña la majestuosidad de la estación Gran Central.
Aún así es uno de los edificios más conocidos y reconocibles de la Gran Manzana...Me trae recuerdos de verlo en muchas peliculas como The French Connection, Armageddon, Atrápame si puedes, Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate, Highlander, Gremlins 2, Godzilla.The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, o la famosa Soy Leyenda por citar algunas, Ademas también aparece en video juegos, anuncios, videos musicales y un largo etc.
