Raps ist eine wirtschaftlich bedeutende Nutzpflanze, von der die Samen vor allem zur Gewinnung von Rapsöl verwendet werden.

Witterungsabhängig beträgt die Blühdauer eines Exemplars etwa drei bis fünf Wochen, eine einzelne Blüte ist aber bereits nach ein bis zwei Tagen verblüht. Im Jahr 2019 wurden weltweit 70.510.703 t Raps geerntet.

Nachdem am Morgen des 02.05.2025 der Vollzug mit Kalilauge in Sehnde, zum Weitertransport per Binnenschiff nach Wunstorf, abgeliefert wurde, machte sich HVLE 159 246 anschließend mit dem Leerzug auf den Rückweg ins hessisch-thüringische Kalirevier. Südlich von Sehnde konnte der Zug zusammen mit Raps und der begrünten Kalihalde in Szene gesetzt werden.

Como no es tóxica generalmente se considera segura para consumo humano y también como forraje, en alimentación de vacunos y cerdos.

No, I've never heard of grime rap either - my music tastes are still set in the 1960s and 70s. This mural in Northampton depicts Grime rapper FFSYTHO, who apparently is making a name for herself on BBC Radio 1 xtra. Again not a station I listen to - I'm more Radio 2 and Ken Bruce!
