Rubber stamped Iced biscuits - made using a Cavallini & co. stamp set and an edible ' ink pad' - stamp pad felt ( a Ranger Ink 8"x 10" cut n dry stamp pad felt costs about £4.50 and will make loads of pads! ) soaked in sugarflair colouring diluted with Culpitts dipping solution ( food grade isopropyl alcohol ).

The image doesn't always turn out perfect , so that's when I use an edible pen to add detail.

the stamping works really well on rice paper too!

I had sooo much fun designing this guys suit. I stamped several owls then I colored one of them with my Copic markers and added a few dots. I took my scissors and cut down the middle of his feathers and folded back to make his lapels. Added stitching and buttons. Fashioned the tie with the screen stamp and cut triangles for the white shirt. Reverse image for the bird. Sorry if this is choppy and thanks for all your overwhelming well wishes for my DH!! He's doing great!

Hugs,Kathy

P.S. that off colored bit is on purpose in the eye....you know who some people have a bit of hazel in a green eye..or whatever???

Wanted to play with my grass stamp and I decided to try to add some other flowers along with it. This was inspired by many of you on here....think Jacqueline, Lin, Jill, Barb etc... and the amazing things you all create!

I added a bit of script to the BG, used 2 colors of Ranger inks( caramel and vintage photo) for the grass stamp, came back and added some Copic glitter highlights on the grass heads (hard to see) and did some over all distressing around the edges with ink and my edge distresser. Added a bit of sheer copper ribbon and some raffia for a bit more of a natural look. It seems like such a fall kind of card- I can't seem to stay away from oranges and browns recently. Will decide on a sentiment later on once my new HA stamps come in the mail!

I finally bought one of those Ranger ink blending tools (I'm acquiring stamping tools one Michael's coupon at a time!) and don't know why I didn't do it sooner! Makes distressing and inking bg's so much easier than using a regular sponge :)

I created this meadow scene with images from CL428 Earth Flowers using Ranger peeled paint and fired brick distress inks. The bg was inked with wild honey, spiced honey, peeled paint and fired brick.

Other Materials Used:

Stampin' Up cs

Papertrey ink sentiment

Stampscapes bird trio

Michael's satin ribbon

TFL and for all your sweet comments :)

Playing with my new background stamps! Also inspired by the clouds other people have chalked. I used Ranger ink and a cut out of a cloud from Sky's the Limit.

Paper is Bazill and Doodlebug.

Oh, and I gave up taking photos for today. Turns out if your windows are really dirty and the sun is shining its hard to get a good image!!!

Do you struggle with colour schemes for boys cards? With my son's birthday around the corner, I wanted to create another bunny card for him but was stumped as to what colours of ink to use for the idea I had in my head. That was until the new Wendy Vecchi dye inks for Ranger Ink arrived and I loved their muted colours which I felt suited perfectly without being too pastel and babyish 😃👍🐰

Diese Kette habe ich 2009 mit Pinata Inks gemacht. Leider sind die Pinatas unter einer Schicht Fimo flüssig fast völlig verblasst. Also habe ich die Kette mit Ranger Tinten renoviert

This necklace I made with Pinata Inks in 2009. Unfortunately, the Pinatas are almost completely faded under a layer of liquid polymer clay. So I restored the chain with Ranger inks.

Add a drop of alcohol ink onto a blob of liquid polymer clay for a quick and fun way to glaze.

I intended to make treat boxes full with candies, but I couldn't find them in my kitchen cabinet, so I just went this way. I stamped zig zag and lattice background from Hero Arts, heat embossed, and blended with Ranger ink Spring series. Die cut floral oval from Spellbinder for the flips, seam binding ribbon with Ranger distress stain. Add butterflies from Hero Arts Antique Engraving.

I had one more idea for the Celebration of Learning Challenge at the Hero Arts blog to showcase new techniques you've learned. I think I'm finally getting the hang of the Ranger ink blending tool, and wanted to try it with emboss resist using the Hero Arts Stunning Snowflakes background stamp.

I stamped the Snowflakes in Versamark Dazzle ink and used clear embossing powder. I then used Rouge, Pure Poppy, and Dark Peony inks to blend with my Ranger Blending tool, starting with the lightest, moving in from the edges to the center, and using the darker ink to highlight certain portions. I then used the same technique with the Large Christmas Circle sentiment and punched it out with a 1 7/8" circle punch.

I finished with Hero Arts Crystal Gemstones in four sizes and coordinating ribbon (double knotted to get the tails to move in the right direction).

This travel keepsake journal's design was inspired by Claudine Hellmuth.

Here is her web sight. www.claudinehellmuth.com/

The book is from 7 gypsies & pp is Basic Grey. We will be traveling up the coast so I have waves and sand in the background. I used HA dots & flowers and dot flourish boarder. The arms and legs are stamps from Claudine's stamp set. I made clothes from BG papers. The bird & butterfly are from HA. For the suitcases I printed the destinations on checked paper from Amuse and cut rectangles and rounded the corners, stamped, distressed. For the handles I used the Cuttlebug tag. For the inside I jused Antique lined Ranger ink & dried marigold. Some of the stamping inside is from HA travel set (wood stamps 2008 but, there isn't a number)

Thanks for looking!! The inside is envelpoes so we can put business cards, theater ticket stubs, favorite resturant information...etc.

I used Ranger ink spring series (squeezed lemonade, shaded lilacs, peacock feather) to create a background. stamped randomly HA friendship definition using Ranger ink pumice stone, then HA Newspaper Tulips as main image with different colors of Memento ink.

Cutting out poker chips with a circle cookie cutter. I was able to cut out about 14 chips from one package of white polymer clay.

My card was inspired by the beautiful Ralph Lauren design featured in the current Runway Inspired Challenge. I couldn't resist using my favorite lace stamp, I thought that it resembled the statement necklace in the inspiration photo. Thanks for looking.

Supplies: Altenew Lace Up, Hero Arts Letters (AC025), Hero Arts Gems, Ranger Ink and Embossing Powder

Hi friends.....I know Mother’s Day is a while away but I only just recently purchased this beautiful set of proteas from @heroarts and because it’s the national flower of my native South Africa I decided it was perfect for my mum who I miss terribly but enjoying a very hot South African summer.

It’s such a regal flower and is even more gorgeous in real life.

The background was stamped with @heroarts square pattern and the sentiment is embossed with @ranger_ink gold tinsel embossing powder

Hero Arts rubber stamp and Ranger ink.

I think this is about 80 polymer clay poker chips which is for the Las Vegas Clay Carnival, that will be swapped at the amazing last day party. These are stamped with various YanKiwi stamps. The starfish is actually made from a GWO in the sealife collection, which I used as a mold.
