All last night the thunder and lightning crashed and flashed. It was a brilliant storm. By morning the worst was over, but it was still a bit cloudy.
We decided to go for a walk as it was cooler. A few years ago we walked right up to the top of one of the hills, where we discovered a huge marble quarry. We had been wanting to see how that was progressing, so that's where we went today. It was a three hour hike there and back.
I don't know what's going on in this picture. Lol, but whatever.
