Two kaleidoscopes today. One a bit darker than usual. The other more random, meaning I had no idea where I was going when I started. An all too common occurence.
My hometown...lived there my entire life and almost the whole time in the same house. That sounds kinda sad, I'm a small town girl, what can I say.

This is a piece I made called "Random Encounters" for a gallery show on the String Theory. It's a hanging piece that is about 7.5 feet long, made of felted wool with photos stitched on that were printed on canvas.

These hats were found either frozen to the sidewalk or sign post or stuck in a tree.. There's 2 Carhartt,1 George (Walmart label), a Generic Friday the 13th beanie and a Nike Hat. They're the best thing for keeping the head warm for winter but it hasn't been much for a winter this year. And yes they can stand on their own now and maintain their shape
