Fairy tale windows at either end of this terrace. Now flats but in their pomp they must've been huge houses.
Part of a group of jolly victorian seaside houses, built up against and into the arches reinforcing the cliffs. Unfortunately they're terribly prone to losing their period detail. These two are probably about the best preserved of the lot.
Virtually destroyed by fire a couple of months short of its centenary, Ramsgate library is being rebuilt - a new building behind the restored facade. More info about their progress at www.forl.org.uk
