YES...she is standing alone! Sorry for the QUICK shot...I was afraid that she might not STAY standing...and that stone she is standing on is hard! :D So I shot and ran! Stell-ah is wearing the new Rainbow Brite boots...that we found on the Rainbow Brite girls! We got them at Target.
AND I should have shown you all how I knew about the Rainbow Brite Girls being back! I saw them on Melissa's flickr!! SO...thanks to Melissa for always knowing what's happening out there!!!

Happy Tuesday y'all... pucker up!
My little one got these from her Mimi today & we have been prancing around in them all day.
I'm pretty sure the neighbors are worried & wondering where the parents of these 3 unruly children are.
Hey, if I want to prance around wearing multi colored headbands in my spandex while making dinner ... that's my business.
Eleanore was up nearly all night with what started out as allergies. The winds were insane yesterday, and we spent the afternoon outside flying a kite. Christopher had just cut the grass, along with half of everyone else in the neighborhood. I felt the pressure in my face as soon as I took a breath through my nose. Luckily, I'm on clariton, and take a cocktail of sudafed and ibuprofen to help with the suffering. Little Eleanore, however, doesn't understand what shes feeling, and doesn't know how to tell us when shes uncomfortable. Instead, like most 2 year olds, she gets cranky. We as parents sometimes forget to look past the crankiness, and let the underlying cause slide past us. At 2am we loaded her up on childrends tylenol in hopes of easing her pain. It must have helped, because we didn't hear much from her until I got her out of bed this morning. Her face was covered in ickies, so I treated her to a goodmorning bath while baby brother napped in his bassinet. It was nice, and made her feel much better I'm sure. Now shes being spoiled with Rainbow Brite dvds and frosting covered waffles for breakfast. It looks like the allergies have already taken a turn for the worse, and a trip to the doctor might be in order. Sinus infections are no fun. Poor little lady. She can watch all the Carebears she wants today. Promise.

Following the successful relaunches of Rainbow Brite and Strawberry Shortcake, The Loyal Subjects inked a deal with Hasbro to give the same treatment to a host of legacy brands, including Jem.
A few things about this Jem doll that IMO could have been done better.
Very thin hair, I'm super happy they gave her great articulation, but the execution could have been better. I feel like TLS company didn't learn anything from Hasbro Jem doll from the 80's as far as making her more playable with Barbie.
But most of all...WHO THE HELL IS SINGING THE JEM THEME SONG!!! Because it's not Britta Phillips!!!!
All that aside I love her. :)

When I was in Jersey I did a little shopping, and came up with this outfit. Now that I'm home in LA I can combine these with my other rainbow clothes and jewelry and make an even awesome-er outfit. lol
These girls are surprisingly supposed to be Rainbow Brite characters. One of the many attempts at a revival of the franchise in the 90's. I got these off of ebay, MIP. They are pretty cute, just not Rainbow Brite like at all in any way. I still need the other two, Amber and Cerise.

Haha...Goldie is worried that Melodie is too close to the edge...Mattie doesn't seem like she cares...she is more interested in being sure that she still looks darling! :D
