This balloon graffiti was showing up all over the Railpath and other areas nearby. This was found on a piller on one of the upper levels.

Tineaux recently installed his art project, "Heart Strings" on a fence at the West Toronto Railpath, near the Tower Automotive Building, now the Museum Of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada.

The work of art is made with recently fallen Autumn leaves that are cut into heart-shaped pieces and strung together with mercerized thread. Some hearts have text on them, typed on a Brother typewriter.

Railings old and new. I've always loved these old 1910s and 1920s iron pipe railings. Not many left in town. The suburban aluminum railings have made their way downtown over the decades, replacing them. Painting these black helps a bit to add some character, but not much. Anyway, I like how the green of the old railing lines up with the green of the camo stripes in Kwest's piece.

A variation on the jacket from my Barbie Suit pattern, the skirt from my Barbie tennis outfit and the simple beret found in the High Collar Coat pattern, and in Six Hats. Making these 3 pieces in matching yarn give this outfit a vintage feel. So pretty!

At first I was annoyed that the heart was behind a chainlink fence but then I realized that the fence created an interesting effect.

Stacked up next to the West Toronto Railpath near Ruskin Ave., for the Kitchener GO / Union Pearson Express track expansion.

This is Teva Durham's Fair Isle Capelet from her book Loop-d-Loop. It is a pattern for full sized humans knit in a very chunky yarn. I followed the pattern stitch for stitch using sock wool and it turned out to be exactly the right size for Barbie!
