An old RAF keychain made from a think chunk of what I think is brass. The crown indicates its a Kings crown, which would date it around the Second World War, which ties in with the dates of the owners service. It is most likely cast from an original cap badge of the time. Many keys hang from it as the whole ensemble is reflected in a mirror against a colourful sparkly background.
RAF Eurofighter Typoon low level through the Mach Loop in Mid Wales . Dont think the Pilot was taking any notice of the road painted sign below as he was probably doing over 500mph at the time

The most famous of all Spitfires still flying today, MH434 was built in 1943 at Vickers, Castle Bromwich. This Spitfire is remarkably original, having never been subject to a re-build

XR397 DeHavilland DH106 Comet 4C at RAF Lyneham in 1962 in service until 1975. Purchased by Dan-Air the same year becoming G BDIV, wfu in Nov 1979 at Lasham Hampshire (EGHL). This airliner was to become part of the Dan-Air Historical Aircraft Collection, a stay of execution until 1985 but was scrapped at Lasham that year.
Later all the RAF 4Cs were painted grey on the undersides of the fuselage, but on a personal note thought the all metal finish was most attractive.
