Another tennis trophy - this one from last summer. With this pic, I have used up my upload limit for Dec 2005, so no more uploads (or more importatnly, a hint for me to buy the 'pro' membership!)

A Rossignol that is not wood and doesn't have an inverted bridge... (actually when I bought it based on a small picture I thought it was wood).

"I'm furious about the Women's Liberationists. They keep getting up on soapboxes and proclaiming that women are brighter than men. That's true, but it should be kept quiet or it ruins the whole racket."

Today my classmates and I had some smashing good time at the tennis court! The weather was almost scorching but the occasional winds made it much more tolerable.

I loved it! We should definitely play more tennis in the future! xD

1. Subject: Tennis Racket

Story: Racket is kind of a sarcastic and "punny" title because i toned down the saturation so the photo doesn't seem very loud. The story is the pun behind it.

Background information: its just a lame tennis racket that i took in my backyard. i really like this piece though, for some reason.

3. Key Element: value

4. Key Principal: I know that this isn't actually a Principal but i would like to say Tone. The emotional tone.

5. The fix: Basic edit, followed by a hue change and then lower the saturation.

6. DOF: inifinte

7. Direction of natural light: took this at sunset. to the west (right of this photo.) (Exterior Shot)

I wisg I had more of the strings in this on the rhs, which would put the ball slightly to the left rather than in the centre. We live and learn!

I had the pleasure of shooting a friend's son at a local tennis tournament. He is a top ranked player for his age group in Florida.

This was my first time ever shooting tennis, which was chore enough. Add to that I was using my new Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 lens and things became real fun! Some of the shots turned out OK and I am looking forward to shooting more matches of him in the future.

For some reason they decided to roost across the street from me, and not down by the river today.
