The ST Recaro seat packege in the Ford Fiesta ST is not the icing on the cake, it IS the cake!

This is how you can use the factory 3-point belt if you don't bother running it through the race seat slots. It fits fine this way.
Switching from console to pc in terms of simracing includes one nice advantage: the chance to use a button box for several in-game controls. This one here comes from Derek Speare (www.derekspearedesigns.com) and has an unbeatable price/performance ratio.

Client wanted vinyl sides and velveteen centers. They looks and felt great to sit in.
You can still see the red paint around the plastic seat belt holes. Don't spray paint your seats folks, it does not work to well. If you do, tape off parts that should not be colored :)
Factory seat belt receptacle attached to race seat. The factory 3-point belt can still be used this way, but note that you do not feed it through the race seat's slot, because it's way too low. It's a good idea to put some felt on both sides of the receptacle; otherwise you'll get a few scratches on the handbrake lever as seen here (the flash makes them look worse in this photo than they really are).
This is the new eye bolt that replaces the factory bolt near the floor, behind the driver's seat, on the outside below the door sill. The outboard lap belt and the outboard end of the sub belt clip to the eye bolt. Cotter pins prevent accidental unlatching. This picture is looking straight down at the floor. The top of the photo is the front of the car; the left is the door sill; the right is the left rear of the seat and the seat rail; the bottom is the firewill behind the seat.

This is looking down at the inboard side, with the factory receptacle attached to the seat, and the inboard lap clipped to an eye bolt in the floor pan just behind the seat rail, and the belt fed through the seat slot.

An upholstery job before I got started.
Client tried to spray paint the fabric back to red, then to black.
