Explanation: this is from Julia Kristeva who in 1986 came up with her notions of intertextuality in this quote she describes intertextuality as every text we have read is informed by other texts we have read.

description: I choose this pic because we have all scene Star Wars in the past and Family Guy is a show we watch now. When these characters dress in Star Wars clothes it can be viewed as intertextuality.

I can't argue with a single word of this. If I had to clean that bathroom, I'd be a quoting and highlighting fiend, too.
