You are vivacious and full of energy! Your childlike way of looking at life makes you both amusing and special to your friends. You make an excellent friend, although you do have a tendency to get uppity if you're not immediately given your way- people often give into you for your charm.

Last week was English Week in the Secondary School with lots of creative English activities taking place. Throughout the week students were challenged with daily quizzes on language, literature and lateral thinking. On Thursday the school hosted its first ever Poetry Festival - a celebration of the written and spoken word - with students and staff taking to the stage to share their poems. On Friday we celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite book characters. To round up the week, the English department provided a 99-question quiz on all things language and literature for students to enjoy during tutor time. There was some stiff competition but Year 10 outshone all others by securing the first, second and third places! Well done and thank you to everyone who got involved.

Quizzes like these were given every month. Every month a new poster with a picture matching the card was posted in the break room going over the questions of the month. Employees would read the poster and then obtain an answer card and fill out the correct answers. The cards would be deposited into a box where the manager would choose the winner and tape their card to a marked spot on the poster displaying that months winner to the rest of the employees.

Soooo, last night I finished the last chapter of my 300 page study guide. Like my other practice quizzes I scored a 90-100%... then I took the practice final exam. 50%!!! 90% of the questions were not covered in the book!?! I lost it and quickly I turned to google to see what others have thought. Essentially since the test series just got bumped to version 4.0 none of the study material out there in the world is more than 50% accurate, some being almost nil. I was pointed to 6-8 other books / reference guides that I should read. Each book however will only contain a small part of what will be on the final test. I don't have time to read 4000 pages.
With already 26+ hours into studying for this test I took off most of this morning from work to cram. And by cram I mean take 2 other electronic practice tests of 180-200 questions, flip through two 200 pages books, flip through several hundred flash cards for another subject and.... that's when I notice something, aside from my brain melting and anxiety almost locking up my entire body. The study guide for the test I'm taking after this one seems to answer 20% of the questions from the test I'm taking now!?! So I read about 50 pages, run out of time, drive down the road and take my test. I was given 3 1/2 hours total to take the test. I needed only 1 1/2. It seemed 5000% easier than what I studied for. About 10% of the test was taken from any of the study guides... the rest was from my experience or deductive reasoning Hundreds of people online relate to my exact story. Now I must wait 2-5 months for my test results to be returned to me....even though the computer grades my test as I walk out of the building... 2 down 5 to go.
While studying I took time to chill, as much as I could, and read the 6 notes/sketches/cartoons that Lauren left hidden in various books and spaces around the house. She rocks!!!
