“The Queue” is a photo I took at the coastal town of Cienfuegos, in early morning light around the market area. It depicts men lining up for their rations. One of the gentlemen is holding up what is likely to be his ration book.

Queuing to be vaccinated as Sheffield Theatres became a pop-up vaccination centre.

The queue was so long it had to form an S shape.

For the second Saturday running 700 jabs were available on a first come, first serve basis for anyone over the age of 18, with doors open from 9am until 2pm.

The chicanes in Station Hill have been removed and a start has been made to remove the island that sticks out into Billinton Drive - but work seems to have stopped. Oncoming traffic has the right of way so we just wait for a break :(

No timed ticket to get into the Cathedral but the doors don't open till 10 o'clock so by the time you've been up and down the Bell Tower a queue has formed for ticketholders to get into the Cathedral. In fact you don't need a ticket to get into the Cathedral itself as technically it's free and there is another queue round the corner at another entrance, twice as long, for non ticket holders seeking free entrance but it only lets you into a very limited space.

In Sweden we queue in life... and afterwards.
