At the top is Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, grand historic luxury hotel and below is is the alleyway near "Breakneck Stairs." I'm a dumb American so I don't remember the French name. I googled the Château.

this is one of my favourite photos from a family trip to quebec last week. quebec (the city) was cold and slushy, but still very very pretty, in particular because of its distinct European, yet Canadian flavour..
