At the southern edge of Cooperrider Point, one looks 2000 feet down into the void of Parker Canyon.
At right, pinnacles of precambrian Troy Quartzite weather out from the rim. In due course, thermal cycles will pry them loose and they will plummet into the canyon.

Many of the rocks along both sides of the point are veined with quartzite. Photographed at Katherine Cove, Lake Superior Provincial Park, Ontario.
