The entrance to a house in Tourtour. There are quite a few little places like this tucked away here and there.
Lisse is a quaint town situated in the Netherlands, and it is renowned for being the epicenter of the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens, where visitors can marvel at a spectacular array of vibrant tulips and other spring flowers. Located in the province of South Holland, Lisse is ideally positioned in the heart of the Dutch flower-growing region.
This white picket fence is right along East Ave. in Pt. Pleasant NJ - a beautiful street with ocean front mansions. Very quaint, not ;)

When driving past I've always been intrigued by this little "blue" cottage in Wellingtonbridge so I decided to walk up from the village & have a closer look. It's on the main road with the Corock River right behind it & it's surrounded by tall trees which means it's never without shade. The area is prone to flooding particularly on very high tides hence the sandbags at the front door. Best viewed Large to see the detail HWW!

The (oft-photographed) former carriage house on Worcester Street next to the Worcester Street Community Garden.
South End, Boston.
A country barn on the side of a busy road. But if you just look at it and block everything else out, you are transported to a more quaint scene in a distant time perhaps.
You can see some yellow flowers sprinkled throughout the green field, and lush wild mustard in the distance on the left.
There's a beautiful magnolia tree to the left of the door.
I took this photo with my Ricohflex medium format TLR camera using Fujifilm Pro 400H film.
The station was repainted a couple of years ago and is now quite an attractive small one.
Oakham railway station, opened in 1848 serves the town of Oakham in Rutland, England. The station is situated almost halfway between Leicester to the west – and Peterborough to the east, the line is the Birmingham to Peterborough Line.
Served by EMR - East Midland Railways - and Cross Country, officially XC Trains.
