I took the train from Paris to Nimes in the middle of the day, and ended up here with half an hour to spare. I had just enough time to get some pastries and some HDRs. What else does a man need in life?
Here is a little tip that I'm sure many of you already know... but I thought I would go ahead and say it anyway! If you want a symmetrical shot, get in the absolute center. And I mean absolute. Check your corners, count the girders, etc. You'll have to get a little OCD if you want a perfectly centered shot!

Bateau-feu anciennement baptisé Osprey, il fut construit à Dartmouth (Royaume-Uni) par le Chantier Philips & Son et lancé le 24 mai 1955. Il fut un des derniers light ships irlandais mis en service. Déplacement 540 t. Longueur 48 mètres. Aujourd'hui transformé en bar-restaurant (source Wikipédia).
Lightship formerly called Osprey, it was built in Dartmouth (UK) by the Philips & Son Shipyard and launched on 24 May 1955. It was one of the last Irish light ships commissioned. Displacement 540 t. Length 48 meters. Now a bar-restaurant.

Line 6 of the Paris Metro crosses the River Seine twice. The first time at the Pont de Bir Hakeim and the second here on the Pont de Bercy. The road way runs either side of the elevated Metro tracks which themselves are on an amazing viaduct. This was my fourth and last attempt at getting a shot of the train crossing the bridge without any traffic in the foreground!

The story of this 'camo' space invader has been around for quite some time. After a short interruption of about a year due to the renovation of the metro station, he has actually been active for over 20 years now.

Baseline of this project is "A global art project transforming messages of personal identity into works of art".
