day after photographing the Queen Victoria in this very location I was back to view the docking of her larger sibling and the flagship liner of the Cunard family – the Queen Mary ll.
The Cunard line have three transatlantic ocean liners in their fleet, and this evening will see the first time that two of these behemoth vessels will pass each other in Sydney Harbour, The Queen Mary ll will sail past the Queen Elizabeth docked at Athol Bay.
To be honest – I’m not in love with the perspective of this angle – the ship is too rectangular and losers her sweeping form but given the limitations of photographing something this size at such a close distance I’m ok with the outcome.
