Pentax Q7 with 03 Fish-Eye Lens
The length of the branch on which these leaves sit is about 1 inch.
LENS: Kern 12.5mm Macro-Switar f/1.3 (old C-mount movie camera lens).

Pentax Q7 had lots of color schemes available for special order when it was released in 2013. You rarely see most of them now.
It is quite a fun camera and very small.
Camera: Pentax Q7
Lens: Pentax DA 55-300mm HD WR via Pentax K-Q adapter (259mm-1410mm EQ 35mm)
Loupe: Kamerar QV-1
Flask: Metz 58 AF-1 + Better Beamer flash extender
Tripod and Head: Vanguard
If you look closely, you'll see the K-Q adapter mounting plate is reversed. That's so the Kamerar plate can be mounted there. The Kamerar plate is compatible with the Manfrotto 501PL plate and slides into my Manfrotto 701HDV fluid pan video head perfectly. Without this change, the Kamerar whn mounted directly to the Q sits too high.
One of these days I'll spring for a DA300+TC or wait to see if Pentax releases a new zoom soon. Until then, the DA55-300mm will do double duty as birding lens and smallish motorcycle travel long-zoom. I've already got some nice results from bits and pieces of this kit-still waiting to use the Better Beamer in real-life situations.

This is my seventh quartz piece, but the first to incorporate handmade, working gears with a motor. It's a hybrid clock that brings the best of two worlds.
The deliciously gnarled gears nestled on the face make up the motion-works of this clock. Motion works are the set of gears and pinions that create the twelve to one ratio needed for a clock's hands. In this case, they are much larger than necessary to showcase the mechanical element that's normally missing from motorized pieces. This technique also allowed me to remove half of the face without the motor showing, since it's not necessary to have it in the center anymore. As always, the graphic elements on the paper face are nicely weathered and worn.
