Staring through the wishbones and into the sidepod of the Red Bull show car on display in Silbury Arcade.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel makes his way to the grid for the start of the 2013 British Grand Prix at Silverstone in June.
4 months later Sebastian would join some of the greatest names in F1 history, such as Prost, Fangio & Schumacher, by winning his fourth World Driver's Championship at the young age of 26.
Not only was it his fourth world title but it was his fourth consecutive title. And as a measure of how dominant he and his Red Bull team have been during this period the team also won their fourth consecutive constructor's world championship.

Seven laps into Daniel Ricciardo's audition for a seat in the Red Bull next year and he overcooks it into Luffield. Having tried to correct the slide the car ploughed into the gravel where it became beached quickly. Cue the only red flag of the afternoon and a tow truck to recover one car. Whoops indeed.

The McLaren P1 is a limited production plug-in hybrid sports car by British automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive. The concept car debuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Deliveries to retail customers began in the UK in October 2013. The entire P1 production of 375 units was sold out by November 2013.
It is considered to be the long-awaited successor to the McLaren F1, utilizing hybrid power and Formula 1 technology. It does not have the same three seat layout as its predecessor. The design of the headlights is very similar to the shape of the McLaren logo. Just like the McLaren F1 road car of 1992, the McLaren P1 is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive design that uses a carbon fibre monocoque and roof structure safety cage concept called MonoCage, which is a development of the MonoCell used in the current MP4-12C and MP4-12C Spider upgrade that came out in early 2012.
The production version of the McLaren P1 was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. Production will be strictly limited to 375 units' which according to McLaren is to maintain exclusivity. Pricing starts at GB£866,000 (€1,030,000 or US$1,350,000)[11] but, as of November 2013, about 75% of P1 customers have opted for some level of unique design from McLaren Special Operations, raising the average sale price of a P1 above GB£1 million (€1,2 million or US$1.6 million).

When it comes to the creation of the most extreme versions, Zonda R is a clear indication that the Modenese atelier - on a par with the greatest fashion designers - is capable of strengthening its uniqueness without sacrificing driver comfort.
The central monocoque in carbon-titanium, more rigid and lighter than ever, encases a Mercedes-Benz AMG V12 high-performance racing engine as if it were a precious gem. This four wheel prodigy is able to deliver 750 HP and produce a torque of 710 Nm. This engine is bolted directly to the central monocoque. A direct throttle actuation via mechanical cable ensures immediate throttle response, thus achieving improved propulsor performance in terms of reactivity.
20 milliseconds is the time needed by the Zonda R to perform gearshifts, thanks to a transversal sequential gearbox in magnesium, enhanced by the Xtrac transmission technolgy, Automac Engineering automation and the shift paddles located behind the steering wheel.
A power-to-weight ratio of 701 hp-per-ton combined with Pirelli Pzero tyres can catapult the driver from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2,7 seconds, while the Brembo carbon ceramic brakes ensure the car comes to a standstill even quicker.
A dry weight of 1.070 kg is achieved through the AvionAl suspension components, Aspa machined structural ErgAl parts holding the engine and the gearbox, and Poggipolini Titanium screws. Moreover, aerodynamic setups allows for a high downforce setting of up to 1.500kg and a 350kmh top speed setting. The effectiveness of the rear is matched by the complex new front bonnet, as well as the closed flat underbody and rear diffuser.
