A super nice pyro found by my friend on our recent trip to Arizona. This one is lacking almost all of the black pigment.

Still churning through old images as I go - I should have a new library to keep me going from Tasmania in Easter, depending on how I go.
I'll be hiring a Subaru Forrester or Nissan X-Trail for the trip - anyone driven both and can recommend, both are the same price!
The SS Dicky and Dicky Beach
Dicky Beach is a suburb in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. Of the same name and located within the suburb is Dicky Beach, which is one of the Caloundra beaches.
The area was named after the iron steamboat, the SS Dicky, which ran aground during heavy seas in 1893. It was re-floated, but again, heavy seas turned the ship about and back onto the sand where it remains to this day. Dicky Beach remains the only recreational beach in the world to be named after a shipwreck.
Dicky Beach is a patrolled beach, and is home to the Dicky Beach Surf Life Saving Club. It has been awarded numerous awards, including the 'DHL Queensland Surf Life Saving Club of the Year' in 2009.

My obscure list keeps on going, with a villain that only appears in Power Girl #2 (1988). I'm only posting him now, as it's been confirmed he'll be coming onto the Flash CW series later on this season. He'll be played by Max Adler (most known on the series Glee apparently. Wouldn't know as I haven't watched Glee.) For those of you that are curious, here's his wiki page.

This is the final rehearsal, i.e. Preview, before the actual parade in one week's time. This year, there will be two firing spots for the fireworks, so it seemed interesting to me, to find somewhere that gives a view of both as well as a good mix of the CBD skyline as well as some elements of residential (public and private housing) in the foreground. I guess this is it.

This started off as a derivative build of the Black Widow... I was messing around yesterday with the red parts I had on hand, and this is the end result.

We were out to the Oregon Coast with some cameras, and stopped at Garibaldi for supper, and got a few pictures of the marina while we were there. I had a bunch of film backs for the Hasselblad that needed emptying, so I finished off a few at this spot.
I used PMK Pyro as the developer for the first time in almost 10 years. I decided to try it again after I developed a really grainy roll of HP5 in Rodinal. I know that punchy grain is Rodinal's trademark, but I really did not want it for those pictures, so I am trying Pyro again to see if the grain situation can be improved.
I am trying to get down to one or two developers, and a handful of films. One of the films will be Ilford Ortho Plus. I didn't get much pyro stain with this roll, though. I used an acid stop, just like I did with the Rollei film the day before. The Rollei film has pyro stain, and the Ilford did not. I decided to use a fresh water bath next, and I did that today. I got lots of pyro stain. I may post that image soon.
