the song Snoopy's Christmas ~~~ The Royal Guardsmen
Snoopy's Christmas ~~~ The Royal Guardsmen
"♫The news it came out in the First World War
The bloody Red Baron was flying once more
The Allied Command ignored all of its men
And called on Snoopy to do it again
Was the night before Christmas and forty below
When Snoopy went up in search of his foe
He spied the Red Baron and fiercely they fought
With ice on his wings, Snoopy knew he was caught
Christmas bells those Christmas bells
Ring out from the land
Asking peace of all the world
And good will to man...♫
Like most of my wardrobe, all of my umbrellas are black. Leave it to Double D (Bonus Living) to show up with this happy hippie flowery sun-brella. I just might have to get one :)

I mean come on. Let's be honest, me miss out on an umbrella shot? I think that's not an option. Also continuing on with my in the shower series.
Since all off the christmas lights are out, and ready to be put outside, I stole them for a bit. I duct taped icicle lights across the shower walls. Note; duct tape doesn't leave a residue :] Way awesome. I am really having toooo much fun with this!!
you guys are awesome. thanks :]

The Silver Shadow was introduced in 1965 as the first ever monocoque model from Crewe, designed by John Polwhele Blatchley it was a major departure from its predecessor the Silver Cloud, the new Shadow was 3 1⁄2 inches (8.9 cm) narrower and 7 inches (18 cm) shorter than the Silver Cloud, but offered passengers increased space and more luggage capacity Other new features included disc brakes replacing drums, and independent rear suspension instead of the outdated live axle design of previous Rolls models. Powered by a 172 hp (128 kW) 6.2 L V8 the engine was enlarged to 6750cc of 189hp (141 kw) for 1970 Both powerplants were coupled to a General Motors-sourced Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic gearbox, except on pre-1970 right-hand-drive models, which used the same 4-speed automatic gearbox as the Silver Cloud (also sourced from General Motors, the Hydramatic).
The Silver Shadow 1 was replaced by the Silver Shadow II for 1977 introducing a number of mechanical changes, externally the bumpers were changed from chrome to alloy and rubber energy absorbing bumpers in line with United States requirements

For the lovely maitexu's FGR pick of Portraits with umbrellas. Also for Monday Blues as I'm feeling rather blue today. Even the fairy lights on my umbrella didn't work. I'm going to cheer myself up with looking at everyone's lovely pictures though - a bit of bokeh should make me feel better!
Thanks to Nesster for the TTV texture.
(Yes the lights are real!)

Waiting out time before being invited into Tesco Renfrew. You might have noticed a lot of the older trailers have lost there add frames which had the blue mesh Tesco livery? All these add frames are being removed from every vehicle in the fleet that has them and a team of valeters have been washing the vehicles down.

Larry and I will be celebrating Thanksgiving in the hospital as he was not released today as
we had hoped but maybe tomorrow which would still be a blessing to us after two very long
weeks for him in the hospital.... his counts are still not where they want them to be. But to
know his kidney is not rejecting was the most blessed news of all!!! Praying he will be able
to come home tomorrow!!! To each of you a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING here in the USA
and for our precious friends from around the world... everyday is a happy day for thanksgiving...
let us all be thankful for what we have and for those we love, family and friends... big hugs!!!
"I, Franklin D. Roosevelt, President of the United States of America, do hereby designate Thursday, the twenty-fourth of November, 1938, as a day of general thanksgiving. Our Fathers set aside such a day as they hewed a nation from the primeval forest. The observance was consecrated when George Washington issued a Thanksgiving proclamation in the first year of his presidency. Abraham Lincoln set apart “a Day
of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens.” Thus from our earliest recorded history, Americans have thanked God for their blessings. In our deepest natures, in our very souls, we, like all mankind since the earliest origin of mankind, turn to God in time of trouble and in time
of happiness. “In God We Trust.” For the blessings which have been ours during the present year we have ample cause to be thankful. Our lands have yielded a goodly harvest, and the toiler in shop and mill receives a more just return for his labor. We have cherished and preserved our democracy. We have lived
in peace and understanding with our neighbors and have seen the world escape the impending disaster
of a general war. In the time of our fortune it is fitting that we offer prayers for unfortunate people in other lands who are in dire distress at this our Thanksgiving Season. Let us remember them in our families and our churches when, on the day appointed, we offer our thanks to Almighty God. May we by our way of living merit the continuance of His goodness." About Wilderness Church - As one of the original buildings of Silver Dollar City,
this peaceful and charming chapel has a storied history. This old hand hewn log
structure was originally built in 1849 along Bear Creek near Branson. The building
was dismantled log by log, and then rebuilt in its current location in 1960. There
was once a giant sycamore tree that stood next to the church that was hand carved
into the church’s pulpit. This pulpit is still used today and stands in front of a large
picture window that offers a beautiful view of the Ozark forest. Countless weddings
have taken place here over the years. Step into the old church and you will feel a
sense of calmness, even though you are in the center of Silver Dollar City.
Day 203 Year 3 yep, I'll kick my heels up for an orange scone on my un-birthday. :)
Umbrellas are fitting for today as it is raining Cheshire cats around here.
That's right, only smiles in the raindrops.
