1/29 - National Puzzle Day
The girls were having lots of fun with doing a new puzzle except I don't think the little ones really got what it meant to do a puzzle. Truffle wasn't amused (I think she was taking this a bit serious) ;D
Puzzle 2
My strategy to puzzles is to start with the borders. Then shapes, the zone colors.
Here is part of the advancement I did on the weekend.
Can you say what is it.
I hope I can go out of the island this weekend. If not then I would stay and finish it.
Enjoy your weekend
Kisses

Rompecabezas 2
Kisses

A puzzle for anyone who knows Cambridge - you're invited to tag the photos if you think you know which college feautures in the photo - if it's wrong, I'll delete the tag, if it's right, I'll add the tag 'correct'.
I made too many of these tonight... your punishment for solving this one will just be another one.

Dabbling in solids ... made for Harper's Strip Club in January 2010..The quilting was so much fun. I incorporated lots of hidden words amidst the soft curls and loops.
I guess I have officially joined the Puzzle Generation.
With spare time on my hands now until I find a job again I have resorted to looking for things to keep me busy.
I can only clean so much and spend so much time doing yard work, and all the misc. chores around the house that I needed something to relax with.
I do read but that makes me sleepy.
So I dug out this puzzle that I purchased a few years ago.
I started it a couple days ago and here is where I am now.
1000 pieces. 20 inches X 27 inches.
A huge puzzle. But so far it has become an addiction.
When I put the word puzzle on the Flickr search I was amazed at all the people that are into puzzle's. Some are really really big.
10000 pieces??
Really.

A real dog of a puzzle, sheesh! I was aware that pieces were missing early on, but persevered because it was a Hintermeister picture; and, to find out just how bad it really was.
An unprecedented eighty-two pieces missing. Puzzle has already been recycled.

The jigsaw puzzle cupboards have been groaning lately; I had no room for the last few purchases, so I decided to have a bit of a tidy-up. I haven't got rid of anything, merely tidied and tried - in vain - to sort into brands, styles and subjects.
I have *slightly* more room but I don't think it's going to last!
Assorted laser cuts, and puzzle-related books
