Since the El Camino is being worked on, we’ve turned half the garage into a gym and have acquired a few pieces. It is definitely more convenient.
I recognised the place where Pentti Sammellahti took his picture of the tree on stilts and the stretching dog, so I just had to go and take a picture of myself doing a pushup. The tree has been cut down. A stump remains. A flowerbed has been planted in the location where Sammellahti must have positioned his camera which I realise must have been a special format to take the picture he took. Time moves on.

At the end of every camp you always sweep the campsite for trash. We followed the tradition of Dave Young : the boys sweep the campsite for trash when they are done, then the leaders sweep for trash and the boys have to do 5 pushups for every peice of trash we find. They did 25. Miles joined them.
