Momentary pushbuttons driving the Tone library for Arduino. It can sound like a circuit-bent keyboard if the delay and duration values get shorter. Next step is to add a potentiometer to control those values as an analog input.

This board developed by Marcos Yarza, assisted by D. Cuartielles, captures a memsic 2125, a qt118, 5 analog sensors, 3 pushbuttons, and feeds 3 leds
The old signal system included a Y type configuration, with single conductor wiring going to all of the heads. There was no underground conduit, so all of the wiring for the ped heads, ped buttons, signal heads, etc all were on the overhead wiring.
This project included new conduit and junction boxes, along with all new field wire. The old pre NEMA TS1 signal cabinet was moved across the street, and replaced with a full size NEMA TS2-1 Stretch P cabinet.
All of the field wiring now goes through the new conduit and junction boxes. The westbound approach signal heads are now on a new bolt on mastarm, which improves the visiblity.
The southbound left turn is now a FYA.
The signal is now on fiber optic interconnect, including PTZ camera, APS pushbuttons, and a lot of upgraded operation

A follow-up to the "ComputerVision" project, the wireless mouse has been combined with an old RCA sonic remote.
The remote has been repainted to match the orange of the case. Also, a brass plate with clear decals replaces the old aluminum panel. Larger momentary pushbuttons are used for left and right click.

My amusement park, Riverside Park, at the 2014 CoWLUG display at Denver ComicCon. The rides were hooked up to pushbuttons. 7 total including the monorail. Kids of all ages were amazed that you could motorize LEGO rides. Lot's of Fun and long days.
A vintage radio in a Springfield, Ohio antique center. Note that the stations in the dial window seem to be Floridian, while those on the pushbuttons are for Cincinnati (WLW, WKRC), Detroit (WJR), and Fort Wayne (WOWO).
The pole was not supposed to have the curbing constructed that high. In order to get the pushbutton to where it was supposed to be, the extension had to be added. Cheaper solution for everyone than removing then repouring all of the concrete.

This is a remote control I built with my friend Leon. It's just made out of a pushbutton and a commutator and a few wires. All in all it costs 2,70 € - the sony version just costs around 50€ so I choosed the cooler and cheaper one: the do-it-your-self-version...
i didn't crop or edit the pic so it's right out of the box...
[edit] Ok, I used the flickr-foto-editor picnik for the first time to edit this pic.
