Es ist eine wahre Freude Gismo und seinem Bruder beim erwachsen werden zusehen zu dürfen. Wir haben die Anfangsschwierigkeiten gut überstanden. Sie vertragen sich sehr gut mit meiner Luna und meinem Balu.
Bei der Jenny ist es so eine Sache, sie ist eine ältere Katzendame und will einfach nur ihr Ruhe, das akzeptiere ich und solange es keinen Krieg gibt, ist alles gut.
Den Katzenschnupfen und die Bandwürmer sind ebenfalls Geschichte und jetzt steht ihnen nichts mehr im Weg, um gesunde erwachsene Kater zu werden.
It is a real pleasure to watch Gismo and his brother grow up. We got through the initial difficulties well. They get along very well with my Luna and my Balu.
It's a thing with Jenny, she's an older cat lady and she just wants her peace and quiet, I accept that and as long as there's no war it's all good.
Cat flu and tapeworms are also history and now nothing stands in the way of them becoming healthy adult cats.

Meow, his name, is my elder son's cat who spends most of the day outdoors, returns home frequently for some cuddles but also to tease the dogs, take a nap and by the end of the day spend the night, at warm, with the kids who cuddle him before going to sleep :)

Jenny hab ich aus dem Tierheim geholt, als meine Schiela an einem Tumor verstorben ist. Mein Kater und ich trauerten sehr um unser verstorbenes Mädchen und nur Jenny schaffte es uns diesen Verlust erträglich zu machen. Ich weiss wie schwer es ist ein geliebtes Haustier zu verlieren, aber gar keines mehr zu adoptieren ist auch nicht die Lösung. Es gibt viele Tiere in den Tierheimen die auch eines Zuhause verdient haben.
Jenny I brought from the shelter when my Schiela died of a tumor. My cat and I mourned much about our deceased girl and only Jenny managed to make us this loss bearable. I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet, but even to adopt any more is not the solution. There are many animals in the shelters who deserves a home.

Resting on the ice of the Beaufort Sea, a Ringed Seal basks in the warm spring sun. As the sea ice begins to melt, small openings of water appear.
The main predator of the Ringed Seal is the Polar Bear. While the seal is on the ice, it must stay close to the opening in case a Polar Bear attacks.
Meine Shiela wäre gestern 16 Jahre alt geworden. Allerdings musste ich sie wegen eines Tumors, vor über zwei Jahren einschläfern lassen. Ich vermisse sie noch immer sehr.
Ruhe in Frieden mein kleines Mädchen.
My Sheila would have been yesterday 16 Years old. However, I had to due to a tumor, euthanize about two years ago. I miss her still very much.
Rest in peace my little girl.

There are 6.5 billion people in the world and 42.79 billion cats. That means, approximately, 737 billion cat photos are uploaded to Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, Dokonoko, random blogs, and last but not least Flickr each day. Every second, millions of cat photos join the internet ranks to be favorited and adored. Let's not even get into all of the Youtube videos. By the time you finish reading this, there will be another few million cat related media files to go through and you'll never catch up! How will you get any work done today? How will you spend time with your family and friends? How will you read the news or get any exercise? How will you experience the non-cat related outside world?
Do we really need all of the endless streams of cat photos and videos? And...if so, why? Is it so that we can console ourselves when Donald Trump says another stupid thing? Is it so that when we see senseless violence, we can have a moment of happiness even if we are feeling forever scarred? Is it because, even if we are in extreme pain, the sight of a cat fills us with such glee that it makes everything a little better for the moment?. And, even if the world truly is a cold, dead place we can find solace in our adorable furball overlords?
