These little flowers are growing on a bush near my hibiscus bush (photos posted last night). My husband calls it a Mint Bush, but I am not sure. When I was taking photos I spotted the tiny little spider making a web.

The Purple Glossy Starlings (Lamprotornis purpureus) - also simply known as Purple Starlings - are fairly common in tropical Africa, where they are considered common to abundant within their natural range.
This is a gregarious and noisy bird, with typical starling squeaks and chattering. Like most starlings, the Purple Starling is omnivorous, eating fruit and insects.
